So I'm watching the cross fit games on espn and that looks like it would be fun to be a contender in..I would love to see how I hold up against these guys who do nothing but cross fit training.
That shit is fuckin stupid. Injuries galore. As a trainer and bodybuilding guy myself, I cringe everytime I see that shit.
You know something tho? Crossfit is interesting to a certain degree...it's circuit training on roids, but I am not so certain if I am into doing Olympic lifts to failure
It just looked so interesting with the type of lifts and amount of endurance involved. I don't have that type of endurance, I'd be yacking in the first hour. They have to be so conditioned for that type of shit..I've had the chance to join a crossfit gym but passed.maybe in the future, who knows
Maybe in the future, I hear that 100%...always gotta think and plan ahead. I don't lift and workout now like I did 5-7 yrs ago...things change as ya age IMO ;-)
I have 2 'associates' well versed in crossfit so I've tried it...I like some of the exercises and I have done them occasionally. I love muscle ups, they are fun!
Yea I'm only 27 so I think I still have some time to try different types of physical training without it beating me down to bad lol. Guess its good to try new types of workouts and see how far you can push yourself, never know ur limits until you push them.
