I don't know who will agree with me, but I feel there is no free lunch when it come to what chemicals we put in our body and that we will pay the price in one way or another. If you are going to blast and cruise, I would do 500 i.u. twice a week for only last 6 weeks of blast. Just my opinion. I'm not into high doses for short periods of time or low doses for long periods of time.
If anything I take hcg while on cycle to make sure things are still working down there. Maybe it's psychological but it's a good feeling knowing that my testicles haven't atrophied so bad that they shrink down to nothing, and having them appear normal and full size is a good indication they are ready to function when steroids are discontinued. Researching into hcg use and why the testicles shrink has also lead me to research GnRH, which is a whole other conversation in itself which I'm doing a lot of research on.
My balls don't start to atrophy until like 6 weeks in, so for a 12 week blast i'd only use it on the last 6 weeks. For the cruise, if he's only on TRT doses, he could take clomid while cruising to keep his testes working. That's what my doc suggests i do for TRT.
