+ 3 Working night shift for the next 35 days straight
What’s good fellas, I’m not picture whore, but wanted to open a topic about food. I’m a visual guy, I’ll get lost reading stats sometimes because at work that’s a lot of my job. As some of you know, I work oil and gas, and we stay gone for a month at a time, I work extra a lot, got to get the hay when the barn is open. Anyhow, this is a visual image of my cooler before I add ice for the night. I work out @1400 when working nights and am off to work at @1630. As you can see there’s 4 Greek yogurts each @12g protein. The red tuba wear is beef and jasmine rice. 2 bananas, 4 peanut butter packets, and two protein shakes of whey iso. What do y’all think? Would love to hear yalls cooler inventories, hell post a pic, im a visual guy, and Ace and Ed, that’s a no homo.

Sorry bro we do not allow food pics. And I am removing the karma you got for it.
StevebI did not know that. What if you put it in off topic where you can't get karma for it?
Yea, if you add a pic in an off topic post or even diet and nutrition post that would be fine. This particular section tho is strictly self shots.
All good my bad. Won’t happen again. I ain’t worried about the karma brother.
Good approach man, if this fits your calorie and nutrients requirements, you good to go.
TryHarder007After 3 years away from all dieting and gym this is my diet right now, down 19lbs in 7weeks, feeling a lot better.. a lot bigger too, muscle memory!
Meal 1: 2 cups egg whites, 2oz avocado
Meal 2&3: 10oz white fish, 3oz veggie of choice (fresh string beans are a go to!), 1.5oz almonds or pistachios
Meal 4 pre: 8oz flank steak, 3oz broccoli, 50g cooked white rice (freaking it’s like one bite..), .5oz avocado oil over broccoli
Intra: 5g Bcaa, 5g EAA, 5g glutamine
Post: cinnamon in my shake, 75g of protein from a mix of whey con, scoop of iso and scoop of casein.
Pre bed: 2.5 cups of egg whites 20g of fats of choice avocado, Mac nut oil whatever I pick.
Meal 2&3 are the only cooler packing but everything is always prepared and ready. Proper preparation, prevents poor performance!
Little longer and a few little re feeds and I’ll be at the lean state where I can reverse diet and grow!
I know the shakes are more for conveinence than anything but if you can try to get in some more meat itd be pretty damn good. Try to replace at least one of the shakes with 6oz lean protein. This shows some dedication though brother. Its a lot more work eating clean on the road.+
Yukon_JackBulk shake (approx.1300-1600cals depending on how u tweak your pb,egg whites,etc):
1whole banana
2packets Quaker flavored oatmeal
6egg beaters,egg whites(right from carton)
3heaping scoops of pb

2tbsp. Evoo
Fill blender with whole milk. BOOOM!!!
P.S. I Never use protien powders. Stricktly try to get all cals.from whole foods.
How about sharing this knowledge in the general forum. Make a forum post. Sounds like you may have some knowledge to share. We need some fresh posts.
X2 would some more quality posts.
Dayum! Massive shame! Thanks for the idea broski
Yukon_JackI thought you'd like it. Very filling and better for u than all that powder with the maltodextrin and added sugars and God knows what else. Just my opinion hope u enjoy. Critique it to ur needs& preference of blends but you'll like it better & feel better using strictly whole foods.
My daily at work lunch is 6 egg whites , 8 oz of chicken breast, 1 oikos, 1/4 cup of walnuts 1 apple.
Thermos of green tea and a jug of spring water.
I've got a fridge.
When I worked in the mine I'd bring a big sandwich , cans of ravioli and Vienna sausages, cokes, bologna and a bunch of other shit that wouldn't go bad . Ice pacs dont last 12 hours and if the elevator isn't working or the powers our youd really be there along time.
It's tough eating properly on certain jobs. Sounds like your doing better with it than I did.
I can’t imagine working in the mines, kiddos! We have it great in the oil field, yes it’s long hours, but I stay in a Marriot town place suite lol, its got a full kitchen. Plus $50 a day for food, I mean it’s work, but it’s like a paid vacation to get my body right.
F'in hardcore aren't ya sam - Working down the mines. Don't know how you did it mentally or physically! Must have been boiling as hell in utter darkness.
It's not like they make it out on tv.
Two guys died during my years but I cant even remember how many fatal wrecks I saw on my commute over the years.
It was a good job and good money but times have changed. It's not stable enough for a young man imo.
Farming according to ins statistics is the most dangerous job in the US.
2 of those tupperware for me would be egg omlette with 2oz turkey along with a bagel with peanutbutter. Yes i eat it cold and the next day sometimes
Same here, just to change it up a bit. I need to incorporate eggs back into my diet.
I say throw in a Tupperware of cut up chicken breast with some sort of sauce and you are all set.
Just switched to beef, I get sick of chicken then go to beef and back to chicken and so on. I do love me some chicken with tereyaki glaze to dip it in.
Now ya talkin - Tereyaki chicken, one of my favourite ever dishes
I hear that man. I have to switch it up too get sick of eating same thing all the time
