I never had hair on my back or shoulders until i started gear now my wife says she's gonna wax me come spring. I'm fine with it as long as she stays away from the balls with the wax strips, lol.
It lasts pretty good for 6-8 weeks. I got my chest/abdomen waxed a few months back in the fall and it stayed smooth for that long at least - I didn't pay close attention to the time, but definitely worth it vs. shaving once a week. It hurts like hell but the ladies are telling me you desensitize to it over time and it's not nearly as painful after you've done it a few times.
Yeah, it was worth it to avoid all the razor burn and just the hassle of shaving. I was red and a little bumpy and irritated for the first couple days after the wax but it cleared up quicker than I thought.
Let a chick who waxes do it for you, they know what's up and how to hold the skin tight and pull fast. The first pull is the worst but after that you kinda get somewhat numb to it.
