What I thought was a Ventrogluteal shot

I've seen a lot of questions as to where is the ventrogluteal shot supposed to be, and directed to medical charts. I was about to make a shot and decided to take a picture of where I will be making it. Kinda in a sitting up position on the edge of the bed, some meat of my butt hanging off.

So it turns out I've just been hitting the glutes from the side. There is a link in the thread below to an accurate picture for the ventrogluteal area.

Thank you to 1jakd_hipy for posting a correction of the shot. And go fuck yourself to whoever negged me for this. So I was the first one to try to show where the vg is after seeing so much discussion and confusion about it. I was wrong, it was discussed further, and corrected. So people are learning. To the one docked me, have you even tried to show it?
Ventro gluteal is way more towards the front then the back. It's about right where your 5th pocket is on your Jean's. I have looked at a shitload of diagrams online amd they all are shitty.hold your hands where your 5th pocket would be on both sides.then shift your weight from one side to the other.the muscle you feel flexing is it.

Looks like she's doing a normal glute shot
He's laying on his side and she is swabbing the hip area. I just checked again and it has a different one of a lil russian kid. Just hit the refresh and you should see a guy on his side.

So is it behind the hip bone towards the ass? I wanted to try it last cycle but did'n know the spot 100%
i do mine up more towards my hip bone. if i do it low like you are i get mad pip.
I try to get it dead center of the meatiest area that hangs off the mattress using a 1.5". Haven't had pip there yet. I've used a one inch too.

By that picture, its hard to tell where you are pinning since most of your body is cropped out.
Wanna see my pubes? Tried to describe it best I could without getting too much in the pic. With the way I'm sitting you can just barely make out the hip bone and you can tell butt meat from the thigh.

I'm just into my second cycle, and I've been wanting to too, but like you wasn't sure exactly where. Been seeing pics on medical charts only and they don't help very well. I was sitting in bed near the edge, watching tv, looked down and said, oh there it is. It's nearly painless with very little pip if any. Now I rotate between glutes, ventros, quads, and delts.
Drop your shorts, sit down, lean back. Find the meaty spot under your hip bone and stick it.
