Umbilical hernia??? Thoughts
So the top pic is the most recent. I noticed over the last fee weeks my belly button is statmrtung to protrude. I didn't think anything if it. I thought maybe because I was getting leaner in the lower abdomen. My sister noticed and brought it to my attention that it looked like a hernia.
The bottom pics are past/older pics throughout my journey to compare to...
Looking into it, I suppose it might be.
I dont have insurance at the moment, nor the $$. so I was wondering if anyone here has ever experienced this or have any feedback.
Is this something that needs immediate attention or would a brace/belt suffice for the time being?
I'm a little scared to put in a intense/heavy session in the gym.
Any feedback or info will help.
Yes, I know I need to get insurance... So we can skip those comments:-)
Thanks everyone!!!

g2Dok bro, hurry
Common in bb, mesh screen will take care of it (yours isn't that bad yet)
Like said below go to a doctor get it fixed asap then go back to training I wouldn't train at all if it was me. Better to put yoir self in debt to save your life then to be dead. Infections can cause a blood disease that can kill you if not treated or it can rupture and cost more in the long run it might be early enough to be a easy fix could end up being a pill you take to get rid of it
I wouldn't worry about it. You've probably had it since birth. I would get that shyt stitched up as soon as you get insurance. If you can find a policy with 0 deductible, get that for 90 days, and soon as it kicks in, get it fixed, and if it's too expensive switch to a lower tiered policy with a higher deductible
Yup. I've had the same thing for a very very long time. I will get to it one of these years
NotNatural23any pain at all see a doctor right away. u can get blood supply cut off which can cause gangrene and then cause major infection and even death. These are worst possible outcomes. It sure does look like u have one. I would get some insurance asap and then get surgery to correct it if that is possible.
No pain.. In fact I didn't even know until it was pointed out.
Thanks for the feedback!!
Quick and easy answer...go see a doctor...
With that stated, I have an umbilical hernia. It is one of the most common hernias...if it doesn't bother you, and isn't getting worse - monitor it. I've been riding mine out for almost 5 yrs. Or go to doc and get procedure done...it's quick and fast recovery (4-6 weeks).
Thank you.. No pain. It goes back in when I'm relaxed. I'm hoping I can put it on the back burner for a couple months until I get things in order.
