+ 2 Total Testosterone and Sensitive e2 on 500 mg. Test - Flushed Skin

ad

Hello all,

About 5 weeks into a simple 500 mg. test blast. Running 300 mg. Test Prop from Naps on top of 200 mg. Test Cyp (pharma grade for my TRT) every week. Also running approximately .25 mg. Arimidex every other day.

Feeling good, but my upper chest, the sides of my neck, and my face get flushed red at times throughout the day. Over the years I've read probably a hundred threads on this topic and no one seems to have an explanation. Sure, there are theories, but I have tested each of these variables over and over again.

BP is normal, blood counts are normal, I don't take Niacin, stims, or any preworkout, low sodium diet, the flushing doesn't improve with antihistamines, so forth and so on.

At this point I chalk the flushing up to androgens in general. If there are androgens in my system, I'm flushed red. Period.

Anyone have any further input as to what causes this flushing?? Thanks!

Irish here too brother, careful with melanotan. One of the reasons we get so much skin cancer is our melanocytes aren't very efficient. Over stimulating them when they're already prone to cell mutations worries me.
On the plus side we glow in the dark!

Side note, I was running the exact same cycle with another brands test (prop/enan) and my numbers were 4200+ total test. Maybe we metabolize differently, maybe mine was overdosed, maybe yours was underdosed. I posted bloods.

Yeah, I metabolize very quickly due to low SHBG. Took a solid 150 mg. of pharma test to put my trt numbers north of 450 ng/dl! Will check out your blood work post now, thanks!

Some people especially light skinned blue eyed blonds have their blood vessels very close to their epidermal. If this I the case with your heritage then the only way to hide the flushing is to get a tan. Either natural or by way of peptide.

I am Irish, so that's definitely a contributing factor. And it's true that melanotan hides it well. But I try to take it easy on the melanotan in the dead of New England winter.

You can always jokingly tell people you have Addison's disease. I have reddish blond body hair and keep a dark tan all year. I tell the ladies that it is natural. I say I am the opposite of Michael Jackson. You will look great and have plenty of women approaching you because they think you are bloody rich. Good Luck

I do donate. Donated 5 pints in 2016, and didn't notice much improvement after the draws. Most recent bloodwork had my hematocrit at 47 point something, and hemoglobin at 16.

When does it get red is it all the time or just randomly

jll's picture

It's red pretty much all the time, doesnt seem to be triggered by any specific event. Not quite as much when I come off, but I'm now on TRT so there ain't much coming off.

As mentioned, BP is perfect, blood counts are perfect, antihistamines don't help. But thanks guys.

BP or estro high would be my first guess.

Does your chest itch? Could be high hemocrit. Maybe go donate some blood and see if it helps
