Aftermath of deads and power cleans. I was bleeding all over the bar by the end of it
Been there! Finish a set walk around a lil and see the blood running down your leg! LOL ;-P
I'm chasing 475 right now (current Max is 455), failed twice so far. :-{
Keep on powering through my man, you'll get there!
lift_heavy20so i have to fuk my own legs up and bleed all over to "hit deads hard?" lol check ur form a little bit man, theres no need to scar up ur body.
No, but I did today and this is what happened. Wasn't attacking you, just sharing. Breathe easy big guy
56tooYeah brother, that looks very familiar and I love it. I dont know why but deads have become my favorite movement
I'm getting there. They definitely grew on me today!
Been thier with the bloody shins...Used a new bar with a rough grip and went heavey awhile back..I had blood on the shins and the bar..Not cool for the other people in the gym to look at, but I cleaned everything up really good..Thats what happens when Im fired up on test prop and doin heavy deadlifts.
You know exactly what I'm talking about!
breakingfaceNo bigger buzz kill than someone correcting your dead lift form.
Haha tell me about it. I was just having fun going heavy and hard on deads... Idk what everyone is so worked up about...
you're right bro, nothing to get worked up over. sorry for jackin your thread. if anything your pic proves that pushed it hard and earned it. good work!
Thank you my man!!
what's everyone mean by work on your form? I thought it was good to drag the bar along your shins when doing deads?
For Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoriodqCVQ8
You do want to. Go to a powerlifting meet and u hear all day "Scrape those shins!!" U are right on thinking that. The ironic thing is the guys telling him to work on form are the ones that need correcting.
what?? that's hilarious bro, you keep tearing your shins up i'll keep doing deadlifts the right way. you don't have to pull them across your shins to keep the leverage right.
Ive been competing in powerlifting for almost 10 years. You are just "dead" wrong. But u keep doing it your way. Thats cool.
looks like you need to invest in some shin sleeves. or you could work on your form, lol.
