Gotta love GK. Second cycle here except PCT which came from elsewhere. Got some free bac water which was nice but have no idea how to open these ampules LOL. Thank you GK!

First time I used amps many years ago I was clueless just like you. Thought I'd make a mess but after scoring around the neck of the amps it was smooth as butter breaking off. Hardly any pressure applied

Put your thumb on the dot, and snap. Don’t think about it too much or you’ll break it. It should snap easy, if it doesn’t, reposition your fingers. DON”T force it. Good luck
Ya I’ve never had to try any tricks or anything, obviously I was nervous at first like how the fuck is this gunna work? But they’ve always broke clean for me, never filed them or used a tool and ones never broke in my hand, I guess I’ve just been lucky. But I think that’s a good tip, don’t think about it to much and you wanna snap it clean so use like even pressure and just snap, don’t hesitate just pretend you’ve done it millions of times before lol

To make it snap efficiently, especially with Thick style amps, take a nail file and use the "rough rugged edge" on the side and file around the "break point" of the ampule you are attempting to open. Also, wrap them in tissue or paper towel just in case the amp breaks apart and you're not left with a handful of shards that might cut you all up
I have a fine triangle shaped jewelers file in my shop that would be perfect for that. Thanks for the tip Diesel. Looks like this.

Anytime bro, amps are easy once you get the hang of it. Trouble is they are all made little different. The neck where it’s supposed to snap gets tricky, sometimes thicker/thinner. The good ones have a little pre-scored line, makes it “pop” easier.
But you’ll freak out when the first one flies outta your hands across the bathroom floor lol. Happens at least once….
