+ 20 Progress 261lbs

ad

Just wanted to post a progress of a 260lb shot since I first posted here after my show weighting 218lbs oct 1st. Then Rebounding back to my normal 245-250weight a few weeks later. Now 4 weeks into my bulk, up 10 lbs.

just wanted to add a recent pic, 258lbs. My other thread explains i got the stomach flu and lost about 12lbs over 2 days, a few weeks about and finally back up to the 255-260 mark. $ more weeks on the bulk prep.

good lawd homie. Looking massive. What's your cycle lookin like?

Mrcoolbeans's picture

I have a cycle thread but for this offseason bulk I`m running sust for the first time, and NPP for the first time.
so in basic terms
test sus 1-13wks at 600mg
NPP 1-12wks at 400mg

small dose of dbol and adrol to kickstart (35-40mg per compound)

But i have been eating alot of good whole foods and every time i get to the gym I`m thinking push push. Only can get better if you push yourself harder over time.

Very solid loyaleez baby pleeze gainz!

To be saluted.

Sorry, L.U.I. is one of the funniest guys on the net in the industry and I watched of his vids recently

You are looking very tight (shoulders are diced in the pic) in the gym pic.

Not here to step on your coaches toes (or yours) but if you are that tight at 260lbs your contest weight is likely better suited around 225-230lbs.

You are FULL but TIGHT in this bulk pic and if you remain as lean as you appear in it while continuing to bulk, you would be better served for competing with less fat to drop off.

Quality.

Just my 2 50cent pieces worth of opinion.

You look great and starving off muscle for a show (unless you must be under a certain weight for some reason) is not necessary.

Keep up the great work!!!

Haha lui.
Thanks man. Never had a coach for the last 5 years of this bodybuilding journey if you wanna call it that. But for nationals next year I probably will have a coach finally. And I keep all my fat in my abs, back and ass lol for some reason my shoulders are always in decent shape. And I'm either planning to get to 225 to stay in the heavyweight division or if they plan on having classic physique up the weight like in ifbb to 225 if your 6' then I may try that out. Again thanks guys, I'm from a small town so there's not much love for this kinda shape here lol

I hear ya man.

Half the battle with competing is what they are looking for in a category much less keeping things simple regarding what categories are an option.

When I first thought about a comeback there was a 202lbs class for the IFBB and just physique which was open for weight options.

Then they change it to 212lbs which is a big jump considering the reason for even having the 202 in the first place.

With physique and classic I check to see how/which I could do and for a dude my height, you have to be either natural or near dead to lose enough to be at the top end of the weight category.

...ugh, I was really excited about one of the physique categories because I would have better control over how heavy I "wanted" to be as well as the physique I find more pleasing to the eye.

As for you, with as big as you are I am not certain you would get rewarded for all that muscle in a physique category as opposed to penalized.

Anyway, you have a tremendous physique at 260 and I would try to stay within 20-30lbs of that for comp weight.

You sacrificed allot of hard earned muscle to be 218.

Even as a coach/trainer I will still find another person/coach to work with for a future a show.

Having a pair of experienced eyes to help out and offer honest assessments is how we can take some of the load off and refocus that energy into our training and eating!

You are on a great path and you need to play YOUR game when it comes to what your body wants to be.

Some dudes are just going to be super freaks and they need to stop getting smaller just to appease while those who have amazing symmetry need to be leery about trying to get to big.

Its a subjective sport regardless and sometimes we have to find the right organization that will reward our physique or at the very least compete in the shows where they will.

Train for PURPOSE and stay healthy man!
