pre-contest pics by week

These are from a good friend of mine from his contest prep from a while back. Each pic is a week apart except between the last prep and contest that are about 3 or 4 weeks apart. I remember the diet, workout schedule and gear schedule were extremely grueling but the results were dramatic. First pic is at 267, last prep pic is 223 and the contest pic was around 210. He was pretty fucking miserable at many points during those months but he enjoyed the fuck out of his results for a considerable time afterwards.

I use these as motivation (no homo, mf'ers) and as an example of what can be attained if you put the dedication to it.

Holy fuck. I've got a pro body building girlfriend that I see every month or so and she always tells me I should compete. Says the new mister o rules favor my body style. I always thought she was crazy, but seeing this is motivation for sure. Diet was key for this guy I'm sure, but also having the proper supplement regimen and support around was equally as important.

Btw, wtf am I missing with sust and dbol. I would never consider them in a cutting cycle. I don't get it. when I think sust, dbol I think water hell. Halo, tren, eq winny, var, prop are my primary choices.. Should I consider a lose dose of sust to keep mass?

Question....is it necessary to get some bulky, higher body fat in the off season? The only reason I ask is that I've never been able to, and maybe I'm not eating enough.

I'm asking legitimately. Are there bb's that stay somewhatlean year around? Just curious.

All depends how big you want to be and how far you've gotten so far.

Many pros put on considerable body weight while bulking while others that stay busy with events/photos/etc during the year stay leaner.

So you do have both scenarios but many cycle back and forth.

While bulking try to get more than 20 cals/lb of bodyweight. It's always been the toughest part for me over the years.
