I've used that brand before. It works. Nice amp too. Last system I had was 2 Orion HCCA 12's pushed by a Rockford Fosgate bDCP T2500. My my my how times have changed. It's all Sundown, Salt, B2, Incriminator, DefBonce, etc. oh.....and PA/87's gear lol
Yeah I don't go for competition level bass but I've always used jl audio amps and subs, literally nothing but. Mainly because of their engineering. But did you hear that jl audio just got bought out by garmin?? No more jl audio. So like in my comment below I'm upgrading while I still can. I just bought a jl 12w6v3-d4. And a custom box made specifically for that sub. In my sedans I've always run 2 12w3v3-2 subs with a jl jd1000/1 amp. Perfect combo. I use a 50hz sine wave in .wav format and use my oscilloscope to dial in a perfect curve. Even though this amp actually has a light that lights up when turning up the gain when it starts to clip. I still use my oscilloscope to he precise. I used to use a dmm and do the math before I ever used a scope. But man, a scope is the way to go. I bet your Orions HIT with that sub/amp combo! I love finding fellow audiophiles
Yeah I drive a koup car. So smaller trunk space than the sedans I'm used to driving. So unfortunately only running one sub at the moment. My subs and amps have always been nothing but jl audio. Their engineering is incredible. And I'm upgrading. Literally just bought jl 12w6v3-d4 with a box made specifically for that sub. I can't wait until they come in!
Thanks man. I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I've used ultima many times. I'm actually going to be using this gear and getting my bloods done, then switching to another sources gear same dosing protocol and then getting those bloods done when ready and comparing. I've done that many times. It really helps me find which source and brand I will get the best results with.
