Best of luck mate pop back over the course of your dieting phase with some new shots as I for one would be interested to see how you progress. Looking good what are your height weight bro?

Appreciate the Props, Sir William. I'm 6'2", was at 248 when these self-taken shots were posted, am down to 242 now. Goal is to weigh in at pre-judging at 220 - 225...that's why I've started the diet and periodization slowly but surely so far out...and am keeping thermogenics to a minimum so that it is fat and not hard earned muscle I'm losing. This competition, and should I place well enough to qualify for the one after it are probably going to be my last two...at 47, approaching 48, not only is maintaining a lot of muscle weight getting harder, the dieting is murder - I'll hang up my posing trunks and just keep sculpting the best I can for the sheer, sick joy of it.

My trainer finally found me a local photographer that knows how to light shots of bodybuilders -- I'm going to start getting a professionally done shot of each of the mandatory poses taken every Saturday next weekend, they should make it much easier to judge progress.

Best of luck bro and just so you know, you look 100% more muscular and defined with the tanned pictures,so I would keep it if I were you!

Thanks for the good wishes mightymarc, they are sincerely appreciated. These awful self-taken shots were all done over a two day period, and I'm so pale right now from the winter its awful. I used Melanotan II for last year's competitions, and it worked fine, but I think it left some permanent dark spots on me, so it will be back to spray tanning this year. The only reason I look "tanned" in some of these shots is the lighting level in the room :-)
