Thx Raw ... Self control needs to be practiced on a daily bases ... we are all creatures of habit ... our habits define us! I think the journey between 70 and 80 will be interesting. If their are no major negative events that happen to me, I hope to stay in this kind of shape. I want people to see the importants of fitness for longevity :). Hope to keep kicking the bucket down the road!

I know this is a little late but what you said about cardio twigs reminds me of this one girl I know at the gym. She must be in her 50's or more and she only does cardio. She used to run marathons so she is very much into spending long times on the orbital mach. She is definitely a twig. She does not get that, the aging process naturally diminishes muscle tissue and all that cardio, even though good for the heart, is just speeding up the muscle wasting. Old habits die hard and there is just no convincing her. Why anyone would want to get weaker with age is beyond my comprehension!

Thank You! I look at the aging process as our worst enemy and it is important to do everything you can to slow it down until the bitter end. If the aging process is going to cheat you out of your youth then I see no problem with cheating back

Thanks! I was fortunate to be motivated to weight train at a very young age. The key is to never quit. You will simply have to make adjustments in your training as you get older but it is all for the better.
