+ 7 IGF-1 One Q Blue - time for a break from growth?

ad

These labs were pulled while running 2ius 5 days on and 2 days off - my baseline is 110. Good results IMO.

I have been running growth for just short of 5 years with the longest break being 2 or 3 months. Usually dosing relatively low. If I had to guess my dosage has averaged 3.3 ius. And until recently I dosed daily. The past year I started taking 1 of 2 days off weekly but prior to that it was pretty much every AM.

It appears that the gh is affecting my thyroid slightly so I plan to take some time off and run a thyroid check again in 3-5 months.

Any feedback is appreciated.

I wouldn't take off. I dont see anything wrong. Yes your TSH Is minutely under range but your t4 t3 is fine. If anything your body sees those levels as being to high so it has throttled back TSH. It's doing what its suppose to. If you look back at your Nov bloods you will see that TSH was at .66 and in range. You will also notice your T4 and T4 index were in range but lower that they are now. Now that they are up TSH will go down as you thyroid thermostat is set for those levels.
Low TSH means hyper are to much. Normal feedback although stimulated by the HGH. At your dose not conducive to hypertrophy but excellent for fat loss.

^^^^^This

I’d personally be very happy with those numbers. Showing a well functioning metabolism with excellent negative feedback loops in operation for your GH/Thyroid axis. You’re just above a GH replacement dose with those IGF-1 numbers so nothing to worry about and the rest of the blood work looks good.

Does hgh supress your natural hgh production

Yes. It runs on a feedback loop (in fact loops) like most hormonal systems. The feedback loops with GH are more subtle and more complex than with testosterone for example.

Thanks for the input - I will continue with the gh (love the stuff) and keep an eye on things.
You're a knowledgeable guy.

Do that

Now if you got a minute I would read the 1st link I posted that relates to what your doing dose wise and compared it to what your doing as far as injection timing. Pretty good info.
The 2nd link is at at higher dose of 4-8 ius and there is a section related to thyroid that you might find interesting to save you some reading it's under XIV. GH/IGF Axis – Relationship with Other Hormones.

With that said I think your doing it the right way in your use of HGH. Not going over board with the IGF-1 and still getting a better quality of life.

I try to hold off on eating in the morning for a few hours after my injection.
I work in construction and I need to be able to stay at it for another 4-5 years and I can tell you that hgh is a Godsend for me.
Thanks again for the valuable feedback Mega.

When was your original baseline taken? Was it prior to the 5 yr run? If so, I'd imagine your current natural levels to be a bit lower. Which could reflect on this reading, which is not bad btw. But I'd expect slightly higher. Also, when were the bloods drawn in regards to your pinning schedule? +1 for testing and sharing my man.

The baseline was from 2 years ago. I had labs pulled Friday morning a few hours after my 2iu injection.
I took the previous Monday - Tuesday off.
I am 59 years old and I think my number is good for my age and dose.
