Hurricane Andrew hit us real hard. I was in my preteens and remember everything. Horrible. We also lost the very little we had(very poor illegal immigrant mother). My point is, your family is safe, and soon this will all just be a crappy story to tell. Theyre the only things irreplaceable. God bless, be strong, and it'll always be ok. I swear, it was 26 years ago and i still choke up and hold back tears to pictures from then.
Thank you so much everyone for the kind words and prayers. I ask everyone to Please Please continue to pray for my family. The River is still riseing, it has came up another foot and a half. The picture above where you can only see the top of the car, well now you can't even see it. My brothers took the boat and went back to mom and grandmas home to try and get some cloths for them. You know how high a regular bed is off the ground, its over the top of it now. They said the fridge and stove are floating. Its a bad time now for them. So please continue to pray that the river will crest and begin its decent. Once again thank you guys for all the kind words and prayers. No Homo nut I love you guys.

I've been hearing numbers like 60ft on river gauges.
Hopefully FEMA and disaster area status will give those folks some help with recovering.
I bet folks living 50 ft higher than the river never thought they would see water in the livingroom.

Thank you friend. They had no home owners insurance to make it worst. Possessions can be regained but life can never. I'm so thankful that the Lord spared them. To make it even worse is the the rivers are still rising and are not expected to crest for another 4 to 5 days. When the pictures were taken there was right at 3ft of water in the house and that was just a few days ago. Its hard to wrap my head around it.
