+ 4 Help with recent labwork

ad

I was hoping to have more time to write in reference to bloodwork Results so I have to make this quick. I'm pretty stumped here. So about a month ago I got same bloodwork done where my IGF-1 was in the 600's. I was recently on my 2nd week of test prop and all seemed well, even cholesterol. I have not felt the need to add any AI as I saw no symptoms and bloodwork still doesn't show it elevated. So that is no reason for the lowered IGF-1 number. I also started anavar 50mg about 2 weeks ago. Nothing else has changed. Diet was same, GH dosage was same, along with test prop dosage the same. I did this bloodwork as the midway point and felt I would check my thyroid function as I was curious about adding T4 to the mix. As you can see my thyroid is good except for the T3 uptake being high. So basically I am curious why my IGF has dropped, along with cholesterol flags, and thyroid. The only thing I can think of is last time I did this bloodwork is I had pinned 8iu about 5 mins prior to having bloods taken. For this test I did not. Obviously cholesterol issue is likely the test sides. Most likely. Looking for some input on this. Maybe someone has been through it or maybe we can learn from it.

Dude I don't know if this will help you any, but I've had low igf-1 scores while running good HGH. Have no idea why, I feel and look amazing also have sides as usual. I believe my body want converting to igf-1. Not sure though. I posted my results up a while back. I'm running 4 ius ed right now, and will up it to 6 in about 3-4 weeks. After another month or so at 6 ius I'm going to run bloods again. Hopefully with better results than my last test. I'm stummed as well my friend. Let me know if you figure anything out.

It's weird man. So much can affect the fluctuation In the IGF scores. I'm like you and have lower numbers but still have the sides and the benefits of it. Hormones are impacted easily from GH, especially thyroid. Sometimes it's a matter of thinking what you have changed while on it and I have obviously added a cycle of test P and anavar. Not saying that is the cause but everyone is different. I'm curious what my levels will be off of the cycle.

Yeah it's going to be interesting to see your levels on your next test. I'll only be running trt test e at 250mg ew when I do my next lab. I also take methadone for maintenance. I'm av recovering addict, so I don't think that will affect my levels but who knows? I've been researching, and am coming up with nothing really. Going to have to learn from our own experiences I guess lol. Thanks for your service brother. I'm a vet as well. Fr sent bro.

I can tell you defintely the anavar is negatively effecting your lipids.

hey bro
i feel sorry for this IGF1 level
i saw all your post, your baseline is 112, after a while on GODT, IGF1 is 607. but now, just one month, IGF1 drop so fast. i dont know if something impact the IGF1.

It's strange. Hope it get it back up in those high numbers again. Anything could ha s impacted it but this is why I do bloods so i can help others. Right now it could be a number of things. Will test again soon

hmm.. I'm trying to narrow it down here..was it a new box you just tested on and same batch from the first test ? if so maybe some how the box went bad? crazy it dropped off that fast though from a 600 but only other thing I could think of...that is a big drop off imo at same dosage.. would think pinning 5 min before or at a different time wouldn't make the igf levels fluctuate that much...maybe now get a retest pining 8 iu the same time you did as first and see where it puts you..this is interesting indeed

The box I used did have some issues with certain vials. Some were cloudy and others didn't mix as quickly as past ones. So that could be a good point. I take bloods often, not just for me, but for the community. Hormones are a minefield and it's fascinating how our bodies adjust to what we take. What you brought up is exactly what I will do next which is pinning prior to testing of IGF. The next would be after pct when I'm just back to cruising on GH.

cool Marine looking forward to your next test and the outcome of this..thanks for testing brother

Why testing for total Thyroxine? Gold standard for thyroid panel is TSH+FT4/3.

Can't comment on the IGF-1 numbers but your lipids is almost certainly due to the VAR. wouldn't think the test alone would be impacting these much. Last time I ran VAR my lipid profile got hammered. Returned to normal within 4 weeks of stopping.

usmarine3661's picture

It wouldn't surprise me with the VAR. I lean up on it and veins pop. However I get sides from it. Mostly muscle cramps but I relieve those with potassium and magnesium. That seems to be something I found in the past.

Have you looked at for renal functions and electrolytes. This has happened to me a few times and almost always I showed low sodium. Large amounts of fluids and not compensating by adding salt to foods can do it. Others use taurine but it does nothing for me when these cramps hit.

IGF-1 levels are more stable than GH. So pinning 8 IU's before the test won't have a large effect if you have been on it for a weeks.

Not sure why your IGF-1 levels are that low. I just had blood work done last week on godtropin, so I will post results as soon as I get them.

Large doses of GH do convert to more igf. Pinning 8ius 5 minutes prior could be what's going on here. Could be that your liver isn't converting the GH to igf like it use to. 229 is pretty low # for 8 ius ed.

That's what I also think. Very perplexed as to how I get it elevated and stable. I will check it again after pct from test and anavar use. Curious what it will be then. Thanks for your input bro
