Im not sure if I was being to paranoid but I was getting ready to pin and noticed a little white floaty. The gear itself has been clean ive been using it for a while and no sign of floaty in the vial. I cant help but wonder if when wiping with the alchohol pad some fabric got stuck and the needle grabbed it going through the vial top. so I did not pin this, kinda sucks but I wasnt going to risk an infection.
Anyway look closely at the black rubber stopper you shoukd see a little white spec. I originally noticed it up higher and it settled to the bottom at the stopper.

It might have been in the syringe barrel before you started. Good thing you checked. It does kind of look like a fiber from a gauze alcohol prep pad though.
Bro there's little specs and fibers in other places on that pin too. When you enlarge it does look more like cloth or paper???
I think the fibers are in the outside bjt who knows, this one piece was very easy to spot.I looks like cloth but its impossible to tell. Regardless, im not going to pin that, I dint want to chance it. just wanted to share the image.
Now lets say that was proven to be something foreign to the vial, did I make the right judgement call by not pinning or am I just paranoid. that is really my question.To me I know what I saw so the floaty is not debatable lol.

yeah when I had the needle pointed up I saw it floating near the top and it slowly settled at the stopper.
I am talking about the vial stopper.
im not sure but I doubt it. I personally think its from the wipe. sometimes it snags on the top where it was crimped but thats just a guess
