NOTES :
1. I typically picked up a shoulder injury within the first week of training. This set me back in the first 4 weeks, I made the most of training legs and some other minor movements that didn't involve the use of shoulders.

My take away from this was not easing back into training after such a long time off. I implemented the BPC157 and TB500 to help prevent further injury and assist recovery, wether it did or not is unknown.

  1. I always contemplating doing test cycles in my 20's, even going as far as buying everything I needed and then not using them. The main factors that stopped me was not wanting to lose my hair any quicker than I already was, reading that waiting until your 30s was a better time to start and having already built a decent enough physique.

I did do a 6 weeks Anavar and 6 months hgh cycle in my late 20's. Even then the Anvar lightly stripped my hair, so don't be fooled.

  1. The reasons why I finally decided to do a test cycle were because of my age, my test levels dropping, accepting that my hair is going, a low point in my life and a complete loss of motivation. I had lost the man that I once was. Work and family life had taken it out of me.

Lifting weights for me has always been as much mental as it is physical. It's has been a true love in my life and I let it slip away. It's safe to say I'm feeling the best I have been in years.

  1. All of the information and ideas above are my own and no body else's. I do not suggest that anyone should copy them.

I think the shedding is really more so if people are prone to it (ex it maybe just speeds it up to where it was going to end up ?) there are tons of people who have different results some shed a little some run crazy high doses of DHT compounds and never loose any.
As for building a solid foundation- it definitely looks like you had that— from how you were feeling, were you ever checked for low T, even in my mid 30s I have low T levels and went on 200 Mg cyp replacement a week. Maybe consider TRT? Your dose was around TRT level maybe little higher , most of these clinics also give you Anavar for a few months up to 40/50 if you want it as well. They are just really expensive— if your doctor is good enough maybe they’d prescribe just the T
Fantastic transformation though, really shows just what lower/reasonable levels of compounds can do. I know plenty of guys run like 800 mg testosterone or some others even go higher and put multiple high dose compounds but I try to stay reasonable, maybe you won’t be pro level, but I don’t think much people really want to be (today’s standards) pro level- and those really high doses are where it becomes really straining on a body.
You definitely toned and tightened up while putting on mass (look at those legs before and after, and the chest and shoulders) while managing to lean up a bit. You definitely have a “fighters looking physique” and would think you don’t want to be very bulky if your participating in that either.
I really like you posted this up because the cycle is so modest compared to what you see and more in line with what these compounds were made to be run at when they were invented. Yet you still show that keeping consistent and working hard can give you some really solid results without exchanging your overall health/wellness
Keep up the great work- I really do think that’s an incredible transformation

Some body mentioned the EQ, I myself have also heard really good things about it if you like to do cardio or plays sports/martial arts and is very mild— I’ve never run it myself but would be interested to see how it affects cardio/athletic type performance. Have heard T-Bol is good for that also— and it isn’t a DHT compound so that might be a good substitute for the anavar.
I’d recommend masteron, if you want a DHT (and just think that your naturally loosing your hair— which is what I was getting from your post, that you settled on) it’s very mild, and you don’t have to involve the liver like anavar- I’ve run it between 200-400 and found it gives you a feel good feeling, tightens up, increases libido, and gives you some strength gains- nothing too major but subtle stuff— I’ve seen people add it at low/reasonable doses just for the “feel good” affect and to help them tighten/tone up what they have.
I don’t post on here very often but glad I found this one

Hi Mate,

The side effects that I experienced are a slightly magnified version of what I was already prone too. I actually expected increased hair loss and acne. The acne increase was the higher of the two and most annoying.

Over the last year I had been under a lot of stress and my hair loss had accelerated. I decided that if I was going to lose it, it would be under my own terms.

Acne wise, regular showers after increased perspiration and Benzac AC 5% cream really helped to keep it at bay. You do have to be consistent with it, though.

It's funny because people talk about roid rage, and if you are high tempered, steroids would magnifie that. Since starting the test I have been calmer and more level headed.

I think having built a similar physique in my 20s (bar my legs) played a big part in making a decent come back.

I had comprehensive blood work done before I started. My test levels were actually ok, being in the mid range. But, I also read that test levels don't always coincide with well being.

I decided that I would give trt a try. All most instantly my mood had changed. I felt like a completely different person. A friend suggested that I may as well cycle a slightly higher dose. And here we are.

I don't see the point in going all guns blazing. Whats the rush? This way I can monitor my body's reaction. It's the same with diet and training. If you start changing too many things, how do you know what is and isn't working for you? And all this is essentially for a beach body and self gratification.

My plan now is to drop down to 180mg for 10 weeks. Then increase to 300mg and add a low dose of either mast or primo, and see how I react to that.

I'm quite comfortable with my size and have no desire to be huge. If I can reach 90kg at this bf% I will be happy.

Thanks for the kind words. I'm really proud of what I have achieved. The mass and strength increase of my legs just came on week by week with no signs of slowing down. I didn't realise until recently how much my back had progressed, as well. (I added a photo)

My biggest let down is biceps and triceps. But, this is another genics thing that I can't change. All I can do is chip away at them slowly, and that I will.

Solid Results.

Hairline-- I had lot of shedding years back from the usual suspects Mast & Tren seen to be the worst for me.

So went with the Mild, that is suggested for less hair loss. Anavar & Primo.. Probably the worst shedding for me out all steroids I've used. Side effects are personal one shoe doesn't fit all.

Thanks, mate.

I totally agree with you. I don't think the test affected my hair loss as much as the anavar.

I lost far more hair in the first year of having kids than I have anything to date. You can't beat the inevitable. At least it's on my terms now.

Solid gains. In the future I’d look into eq instead of anivar. I think that would serve you better in martial arts given the cardio boost. Or maybe just raise the test to 400 and no anivar. Var gives me wicked pumps which is great for the gym but not so good for the cardio. That’s just me though.

I only really train Muay Thai for the mental benefits these days.

I want to enjoy the ride so I just kept it minimal, and to see how my body reacts. I went with anavar as I had good results with it before it something I felt comfortable with.

Thanks for the advice.

Thanks man.

You've got to always keep it real.

Thanks man.

I can be me own biggest critic and I impressed myself. I forgot that I had it in me. It feels good.

That's just off the composition machine at the gym. 3 methods would of been better. It would of been good to of had a before at least.

Hugh_Jarms's picture

Those machines aren't very accurate, but it will serve as comparison when I use it next.

You too, bro.
