+ 12 Filtered my npp

So I filtered my thorin npp. I know alot of guys were worried about the cleanliness of it. I to wanted to be sure so I ordered a filtering kit from medlabgear and got to it. Its not a fast process but at the end when I was done being able to look at the filter and know that my thorin gear didn't leave anything gave me peace of mind that its clean. Im not sure if you can see it in the pics but there is nothing in the filter I imagine now that it probably has already passed through one before entering the vials.
This was a great experience to know that I don't have to worry about my gear being dirty and im happy that I bought these filters and have more for the future. So enjoy your thorin gear brothers I can tell you its clean.

I've always done that with UGL products just because you can never be too sure.
To be honest though the other guys pic with all that black sludge in there you'll never convince me that actually came out of the vial he was filtering.. And I've never even purchased any of that labs oils he was filtering so I'm very impartial on the topic. I've been filtering my gear for years now and have never seen anything like that. IMO after he was done filtering he ran something else through the filter.

Im a little skeptical that gj filter caught all that black sludge from his gear. I don't think I would run it if I had caught stuff that looked like that.
Yes seems fishy to me too ive filtered gear before if it picked up that black shit it would have been visible in the vial before hand ...you filter to catch bacteria and any minor debris if your picking up a bunch of debris than i would bin it for sure the brewer would really have no clue what hes doing so who would know if theres even hormones in the gear

Well at least it seems to be clean that's a plus,far as hormone you're correct only way to know that is to have it tested as well. I wish I would have been filtering years ago, but I am from now own just for my piece of mind.

Can you reuse a filter more then once?
No just one time use up to 50ml at once, then dispose of the filter.
bigmurphI would only use it for the same type of gear i put 40ml through this one medlabgear said you can use one up to 50ml
Thats my rule of thumb. 50ml filtered for about $3.75.. pretty solid deal

bbondsYa me to to bro I think it's a brilliant idea I've had gear just give me miserable out of this world pip and also you have a fever flu like symptoms/effects hope this helps but I am way more picky when I order gear it's got to be good of course but almost as important if not more has to be clean, sterile and no pip or low pip.
Right and since I stick to 3-4 labs now I might as well make sure.
