Of course its usable.. heat it in a heating pad, swirl it around and pin. You will most likely have to heat it every time you pin. It's very common with dhb. Nothing wrong with it.
DHB is prone to crashing especially in cold weather. You may find that is crashes on and off through out your whole cycle. It's just how it goes with that hormone. I ran DHB from a source here in the states and it was crashing in the middle of summer.

STEMwell it crashes all the time u ll have to put it always in the cooking pot i thought the pip is much worse but its all good FR sent.....
