doxycycline & amoxycillin
ad
not intended for human consumption...just like my ai & pct "research chemicals". it's extremely convenient that fish use the same mg/capsule as humans. doxy is going to be used in case acne gets bad and the amoxicillin is in case of a bad pip infection.

Update on the doxy: i opened the bottle up, and the tablets are orange circle pills imprinted on one side with WW 112. searched online and the exact picture of that pill shows up as human grade generic 100mg doxycycline.
Becareful of the Doxy mate. That stuff can give you some crazy dreams. It also makes you UV sensitive (sunburn easier) and your eyes also are more sensitive to sunlight. The dreams are the big thing though. They are very vivid.
have you ever taken ZMA (zinc magnesium) supplements? My first few times taking it, i got incredibly vivid dreams.
I wasn't taking it for acne. Was taking it for anti malaria
CleyonI'm on ZMA right now to combat my acne (failing) and the dreams are rocking! I had one last night that included Suzy B, Grrrl, Girlrilla, and iheartyou... Was completely clean I swear.
if it was completely clean, then that was a total waste of a dream my friend!
CleyonLOL, my lips are sealed!
The amoxiclllin was my poor mans insurance. Would have my friends mom go into mexico and get me several botts each year .
We used to get a case when doing Pitty dog rescue. Vets charge $200. Gah!! But always handy for any need.
breakingfaceGood to have on hand as a last resort. I disagree with the use of antibiotics for the treatment of acne. It's typically not very effective. Eventually the acne adapts requiring a different antibiotic and or strength. I suggest if you have on going severe acne investing in a cycle of accutane in order to permanently solve the issue. It's must less harmful than a lifetime of harsh topicals and antibiotics.
acne is not currently, and hasn't ever been, severe for me. as a teenager, i used differin to clear up the minor patches of acne that cropped up every once in a while, and i have a tube of differin just in case. My only concern is painful cystic acne that might pop up on my back or somewhere that i can't easily reach with a topical cleaning agent. doxycycline has been shown to be quite effective for acne vulgaris, including cystic acne. we'll agree to disagree on accutane, i find that the potential negatives FAR outweigh the positives from it. I have read a lot of truly horrible horror stories about people losing chunks of their intestines or various other SEVERE medical problems as a result of using accutane.
breakingfaceAgreed on accutane. The risk/reward ratio has to be correct. I had untreatable steroid induced acne at 17-19. After a solid year of treating it with topicals and antibiotics... I began to run the risk of permanent scar damage. A 2 month course left me with no outbreaks other than the random pimple every few months. For me the risk was worth it.
