+ 1 Clomid affects Thyroid function

ad

Got these done as part of routine work and holy shit am I out of range. Just got done with PCT so I did some digging and found that Clomid can slow down thyroid function. As you can see I am well into a "hypo" classification.

2 things I learned from this: 1. Ashop has clomid that works and 2. I need to up my thyroid meds when I PCT. May be part of the reason I felt like shit this PCT cycle.

Are you getting a follow up test done to show free T4 and T3 uptake? You are definitely in hypo territory but it could just be clinical hypothyroidism and your T levels are actually in range.

Its not subclinical hypo. My t3 was low and free t4 was in range. This has been an ongoing issue for about a year now. But if you look at my previous photos, you will see I got on prescribed t3 and my TSH came back in range while the other tests showed good results. I am fine, I just wanted to post this as a learning model for others with thyroid issues

below I posted an article showing a medical study on men showing thyroid influence from those who were administered clomiphene at a dose of 100mg for 12 days.

My previous TSH score was 4.1 and I was taking 75mcg per day of T3. Since, doctor has upped me to 112mcg based on this test. I am getting retested at the end of the month to see where I am at. PCT ended 3 weeks ago so levels should be back to within range at this point.

But i wanted to post this for those with thyroid issues. You may want to add some more t3 to your daily dosing while in pct to avoid the hypo symptoms that I had.

Also Ashop clearly sells quality clomid (BP). I will have post pct bloods to back this claim in about 2 weeks

Gotcha, I was diagnosed about 10 years as hypo from TSH readings alone. Was even prescribed levothyroxine but doc was premature in his diagnosis. My readings were merely off from what was more then likely some type of viral infection that wasn't showing signs. That made me aware that TSH is just an indicator of possible hypo/hyperthyroid.

But I see now that you are on T3 so makes complete sense to me. Very nice post for anyone with same issue.

yeah I have Hoshimoto's syndrome. It causes my TSH level to rise and fall like a roller coaster. So one day I could have a 2.2 TSH but a week later I could be at 5.2. By adding in T3, it has helped the thyroid to relax in its own production and realize it will be supplied externally fed a limited supply.

Getting this thing fixed was crazy. I felt like shit, gained a ton of weight, felt tired all the time, had dry skin, test levels were reading all over the place. Felt like an estro crash. So glad I got this straight

But it just lets me know that I need to up my dose on pct
