Have you considered straight up Clomid therapy? It might be the easiest and most straightforward way to boost LH and FSH and hence testosterone levels. I've seen plenty of anecdotes of this being a viable and safer alternative than other therapies and one that can be discontinued without any long-term consequences on the HTPA.
I went to doctor and said that low t is common even at my age. I don't necessarily agree or believe him but didn't act alarmed at all and said that trt is probably only option worth looking at or just continue with day to day like I have been.
So I'm going to do a PCT it 50 Clomid and 20 nolvadex every day for 4 weeks. And then have my blood work done again. I will keep you guys posted. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
You can't be completely off everything .your estrogen is 10 !!! Red flag there .and yes I think you can do a aggressive pct and bounce back .but you have to be off everything and I mean no clen no nada .me personally would research hmg and look at pharmacy grade pct only .
Actually, low estrogen is fairly common in men with low Test as there is less Test to convert into estrogen. So just because it's on the low end doesn't necessarily mean he's on anything.
A 10 is low .yea low t can cuase that as well but I don't think clomid or Nolvadex Is needed really your lh is ok your fsh can come up some and hmg is a better option for this
I mean I guess anything is possible , but seeing what lab preformed the test I highly doubt it. its time to go see your doctor and tell him everything so he or she can treat your correctly.
What would he do for me? Tell me I need to get on a T regiment? Or is there something I can do? Is it worth trying to take some Clomid and Nolvadex and see if I can get it back up?
It's been 2 years and you never recovered like you should . Your only 30 I would go in and be completely honest with my doc and see what options you have so you don't have to stick a needle in your ass rest of your life
Ok. I will do that. Thanks for the advice. Is there any chance it was just a bad lab test? Because I really don't have any symptoms of low t. I have good sex drive and have hair everywhere. It's just a major shock to me that my numbers are that low.
Maybe that is what your levels have always been and you feel and function just fine at those levels. Any pre-cycle bloods? Remember it is just a number. If you feel fine with no issues then don't worry about. No need to try and "treat" something if there are no symptoms to treat in the first place, If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it
Yeah I have no sides of low test and haven't done a cycle in over 2 years. I'm in shock over the number. I was getting bloods so I could see what number after cycle I needed to get back to. These are the first lab I've ever done.
Should go off of symptoms and not just a number. Doc asks him how he feels and he says fine, no libido issues, no brain fog, no lethargy, no irritability, what is there really to treat. Start messing with hormones when you are feeling and functioning fine and all hell can break loose then.
but he is a 253 total testosterone, and only 30 im thinking his doc could refer him to a endocronologist and see what options to get that up a hundred or 200 points. because as you know when we age that test number will keep dropping leading to more issues
253 sure is low. But I'd like to see free T as well. Just as important. DHEA would also be helpful.
Aside from agreeing with Mak above, in regards to symptoms being a big factor on initiating treatment, I did read a recent study that showed a higher mortality/morbidity rate for men with low test levels.
Sorry brother, I didn't mean anything by it. Something everyone should keep in mind is all. Keep in close contact with your doc. Let him/her know what's going on.
For me personally, I would wait until the issues did pop up. No need to become a slave to the needle earlier than need be. What has me concerned though with those lower numbers is that running another cycle could very well spell the death toll to becoming that slave. It is not all candy and roses.
With all do respect Mak and GJ, does TRT always have to be a needle? Doesn't the cream or the patch work for most guys? I don;t get this "slave to the needle" stuff. It's test and that can come in several varieties...not just injectible.
I did have pretty good luck with the stuff you put on your armpits. Not so much success with the gel you put on your abdomen/upper arms. .Alot of people just don't have success with the gels/creams for one reason or another. The other problem with those gels and creams is that alot of insurance companies won't cover them. Believe it or not but a 1 month supply of those gels cost $425. I think that is why my insurance no longer covers the cost of those gels. They would rather pay $75 or less for a 5 month supply of test C since that is an approved treatment for TRT. My urologist is now recommending the pellets and I have to see if insurance will cover that. But now you are also sticking a needle into your but to insert the pellets.

I did a 2 week stint of clen about 20 days ago. Would that have cause the numbers to drop?
Richard.SimmonsIt's not a steroid. It won't affect your androgenic hormones.
Just wanted to rule that out. Thanks.
I would go and see my doctor at this point

That sounds awesome. Thanks for making me feel even better about the situation.

Went by this afternoon and left him my results to look at. Hope he can get it figured out.
Hope he can too, brother. Keep us updated.

I agree completely sticking yourself for the rest of your life sucks
Even with pinning and getting my levels back up to mid-range normal, it still doesn't feel the same as when you had your natural production going.
I'm going to send the results to my doc and see what he says.
You are 110% correct it doesn't feel the same at all
Considering your age and how long you have been off, their some very low numbers.
What are you going to do to rectify the situation?
That's what I'm wondering. Should I do another PCT? Need some advice
I would attempt another PCT. I sure wouldn't consider running another cycle anytime soon.
It's off. It's been 2 years since I've taken AAS. I obviously didn't recover like I thought.
Is this after PCT? What were they before?

is this off cycle? or on cycle
Title says off
Swear I didn't see that earlier
