The local blood bank stopped taking my donations due to high iron, and my dr. wants $150 a visit to order a blood draw. I am uninsured self pay. But in my Drs. defense he is the one who gave me the info on ordering blood collection kits and advised me to do it at home, do a private md labs blood test in 5 weeks and go from there.
