I basically do that, but I do try to remember to take some every other day. I did use as needed but I noticed (one vet on here said you WILL retain , whether you know it or not...except by weight) that it works better for me even if I take only .25 EOD....but usually a bit more. My weight stays around 220 on cycle and about 208 off cycle, but I use the old blind Ray Charles way of telling whether a woman was fat before he agreed to "date" her...:) When he shook their hand, he shook with both hands and put his forefinger and thumb around her wrist making a circle. If his thumb and forefinger touched, he could tell their weight within 10 lbs by how much they touched. I could not touch my fingers around my wrist at all during my first two test cycles (with no anti aromot) but now feel better and look better and can touch my fingers easily using this and occ some Nolva and found out that cardio really helps too.
