I do a pretty nasty leg workout....Ofcourse squats squats squats. Leg extensions,One leg squat and forgive me for not remembering the name of the Mechine but you lay down under a metal platform and push up LOVE IT. Key for me was 2 times a week for the entire cycle and going HEAVY. Was fun next cycle is gonna be a blast

In all honesty legs are the fastes growing muscle in the human body. No need to do em twice a week. As long as you get a good leg workout once a week those bad boys will grow faster then any other muscle group.
For me I like to do a big leg day (squats,leg press...) and a finishing leg day (detail hams , quads lunges , calves).. But thats what works for me to keep me focused and not forgetting the legs.

Hack squat?
Hack squats are a good way of isolating the quads. I always alternate between hacks and front squats.

Oh yeah cant forget the walking lunges, imo the best over all leg development workout.
