Beautiful tree. I put all three Christmas trees up November 1st. All the Halloween stuff comes down and Christmas goes up the second Halloween is over.
Christmas regained that magical feeling once our daughter was born. All about it again and eager to put up decorations. thanksgiving? that’s just a dinner it’s not a real holiday lol it gets no love around here.
Side note all I could think seeing this photo was “man those windows are probably a bitch and a half to keep clean” lmao oh how our minds change as we get older and become “adults”
Thank you brother! My Ex convinced me to get it because the 9ft that we had felt out of place. It’s 13ft and probably 150lbs… and my dumbass felt like Superman last year and PUT IT IN THE ATTIC! That was fun to get down alone. Lol.
Agreed on thanksgiving- just a big dinner here. Christmas normally consists of extended family visiting and staying over for a day or two. It is my first holiday with the house to myself in a long long time though.
Hahaha I use a 20 ft extendable window mop type thing so thankfully can do it pretty easily with a ladder. You’d be surprised once a month is really all it takes- not sure if it has to do with the height, but they stay much cleaner than the ones on floor level.

Wow really?! I like to set up a little something every year. I relate a lot of my good childhood memories and when grandparents were still alive to Christmas time, so I think that also contributes to me enjoying the holiday more than most.
I have memories like that too. I’ve been on my own for 6/7 years, 1600 miles from family, split from ex, grandparents passed too; And there wasn’t any kids up until my sisters these past 2 years either. I want to get back into that holiday spirit. I do miss it.
I'll come stay with you mate - I use to love christmas time but now never see anyone as no one lives anywhere near me.
