+ 8 49 and starting back up again

ad

Just a beach shot taken about a week ago. Yes I know my physique isn’t great but I’m proud of my delts and don’t mind showing them off. Core is next. It’s been lagging as has many other body parts. I’m just getting back to the gym and would appreciate any feedback Smile

What are your goals? Rusty pretty much summed it up with his post but be specific with what type of goals you’d like to achieve.

At that age our exterior is easy to see the areas of concern. But internally we have no clue about what our current state is and always consider that the additions of any exogenous hormones will always impact our lipids liver and hpta. Go in with a clear view and maneuver accordingly.

I second that.

Take your time and take advantage of muscle memory. Get your body used to physical exercise, get that heart pumping and get your joints, tendons and ligaments prepared for the weights. Rapid strength and/or mass increase at this point could cause an injury and set your progress back. You look better than many 49 year olds that I know so no rush needed here.
