I still need to drop 10 lbs in 3 weeks to make Classic Physique weight! Not sure if I'm going to make it. This picture was upon waking with no pump. This contest prep dieting is no joke! I gain more respect everyday for the guys and gals that do this...

Looking great and don't sweat the weight to much.

What you don't lose over the next 2 weeks will be easily resolved if you decide to shed water weight during peak week.

Thanks man! As of this morning, 14 days from weigh in, I'm 255 and I need to hit 247 at weigh ins for my height (6'4.8") Classic Physique. How much water weight do you think I can lose on weigh in day? I have Thiazide on hand to use if I need it but would rather not use if possible. I was thinking if I wake up in 14 days at 250 I could drop 3+ lbs of water through some time in the Jacuzzi. Go make weight and then re-hydrate? I guess I really need to evaluate how I look, and if it looks good, then I stay dry for 24 hours? I really need some good info on Peak Week prep. If anyone has a good article or Youtube, please send it my way.

Keep it simple and try not to change to much...peak week is where most (myself included when I am an idiot) make changes that are unnecessary.

Water can be pretty drastic and you be surprised what a natural/herbal diuretic can do like Dandelion root on its own much less any types of script versions.

Just remember, although potassium sparring products (aldactone, dandelion root) exist it is almost impossible to predict how much water or WHERE it will come from.

Everyone pretends that they can just get it out from "under the skin" but I've not heard of any diuretic in existence removing water from ONLY where you want it to...water is in our muscle and organs and last thing needed is to remove to much from muscle before game day!!!

I've personally dropped 5-11lbs of water in a 30hr period of time and as always it is compound/dose/body response dependent so you want to be careful if you have not tested what you might use prior to the show.

Do not due the BS Jacuzzi or sauna stuff...save that for the idiots who don't know better and pretend it is a good thing. Another topic

Increasing water intake the 7days out each day until the day you decide to cut water (usually day/night before) will help as your body gets accustomed to dropping that water since it knows you are replenishing it...only, you will be tricking it for less than 24hrs by not doing so in the same quantity once dropped.

Any longer and your body will go into auto-pilot mode to "balance itself out" and that will start to manipulate hormones you do not want to manipulate during last day.

Better off cutting carbs down and adding asparagus to assist in dropping weight at a stable pace.

If you get to flat, you can carb up...if bugger it up with to many chemicals that is a tougher fix because you will have challenges distinguishing what ones did what.

Train for PURPOSE and be safe!!!
