PcushionThose calves are on point man nice job on that. Calves are incredibly stubborn.
You looking huge man, very nice physique
Quads look sick, them hamstrings amazing man.
Everything seems to be there. I would prioritize back for now and would maintain the other body parts to bring up that lacking body part.
Great development, haven’t seen many guys your size on here, planning to step on stage this year?
Not this year since I’ve been in the contest game for the last 3-4 years only giving myself 12-16 weeks of bulking per year. So I’m running another bulk, soon till the end of July, then getting ready for a show in January 2020, so prep will start in October
What’s your strategy to bring up your lower back and overall back development? That looks like what’s holding you back, we all know it ain’t your legs.
An interview with Dorian Yates recently I was watching had him saying the lat pullover machine was the single most important piece of equipment he used and he started every back workout with it. Then when he got to the rowing or dead/rack pulls his back was already pre exhausted. This allowed him to stimulate more growth and not let his biceps fatigue before those heavy rowing sets when you know you’re gonna need them.
Food for thought, it’s something I’ll be trying this offseason as well. As always, a big plus two from the Beard.
Yes it’s mosty my back and arms, upper body in general. Specially when I’m depleted it shows.
My back doesn’t look to bad when dieted down in contest shape but the over thickness needs to really come up. And ya i heard of his theory for sure. Pullovers i do but my main focus ive noticed that helps me feel it in my lower last and back, is real pullups, which I’ve been doing.
As far as my training approach,
Lots of pullups, and pullovers, with tons of heavy rows with mixed in reverse grip.
X2 legs are definitely 11/10
