New study. Don't use ibuprofen

ad

This new study came out a few days ago. They tested the effects of ibuprofen on weightlifter. And the results are not good for people taking the drug while trying to gain strength. I know I've taken plenty of ibuprofen to help with pip, back pain, inflammation, and so on.. I'm sure the reason it's so bad is because you need the inflammation as a signal for your body to start repairing and rebuilding muscle tissue after intense workouts . Why people are now using the Proinflammatory arachidonic acid.. anyway, here's the article

I would be more scared about destroying my kidneys and stomach by 1200mg daily.

I know that's a crazy dose. I usually take 1-2 , 200 mg pills per day. And only if I really need it. People are crazy taking high doses all the time like that. It's usually people who have no idea what's going on inside their bodies. One of the guys I work with over heard when I was talking with this couple about the study.. and he was like "1200 mg, that's nothing! I take more than that every day!" He's the same guy who asked me what protein was when he saw me making a shake. He asked me what it does. He also weighs about 400 lbs. it's sad man

There's something about that quote "your muscles can be twice as big" that I just don't buy. You see that same quote used all the time by some supplement company with some new break through in muscle building science, or so they say. To me this reads as something the makers of aspirin put out to push sales of their product. Plus ik if you take aspirin ed it can cause an illness such as Rhinosinusitis, aspirin induced asthma and other respiratory disease and I remember seeing something about viral infections. Could be their sales have been taking a hit bc of these things and this is a way to recoup them.

Yeah that's probably true. They only gave the other group a small amount of aspirin. They may be trying to get funding for another study. I barten and two patrons (a couple) came in who are both doctors and told me about it because they know I go to the gym. I thought it was something to look into. Since I take all kind of ndaids all the time. Some company is always trying to make a buck off of us though. Scumbags lol

I'm sure if they gave them a higher dose of aspirin, the results would be the same

Yep that's my opinion though, can't always believe what you read bc every big company has an agenda and that's $. They don't actually care about the person's well being like we are lead to believe it's all about making that extra buck.

Exactly like the same company that makes cholesterol pills that give you limp dick are also the same company that make boner pills. The guy who made bigger stronger faster did another documentary on the medical industry it was a good one it's called prescription thugs by Chris bell

Nice yeah I seen that and that was good I'll have to look for the other one though
