The Halton police Drug, Gun and Gang Unit searched five locations, four in Burlington and one in Hamilton. Police say the searches were the culmination of a four-month investigation into suspected cocaine traffickers in Burlington. They were all homes searched except for one business, a tanning salon. Police seized a large quantity of anabolic steroids, weigh scales, packaging materials, and $13,000 in Canadian currency. Investigators allege they also discovered an anabolic steroid production lab and a GHB production lab.
