Bad News For Male Bodybuilders!

ad

According to a study conducted, muscular men make awful boyfriends. The study surveyed 327 straight men, more than a third of whom were single, and discovered that the more muscular the man, the more likely he was to have sexist beliefs and hostility toward women.
Just when I thought us bodybuilders were the friendliest species on earth!
Any opinions/experiences are more than welcomed to comment.

Calling BS on this. Take ANY athlete, not just bodybuilders, AND male or female... And when they are in a serious training or competitive mode they will not be the best partner. That's why it's important to have someone that understands your goals and lifestyle and supports it. Must be written by a skinny, lazy little bitch boy

I dunno, when someone claims I have science behind me, then it's time to see if there's some snake oil there. The study seems to be social agenda masquerading as science. The "scientists" seem to be pushing the message that men who hold traditional views of masculinity or hold politically incorrect views on gender equality are bad for women. For one thing, it isn't an international study and it doesn't look like a large sample was used. How can it be said their claims are true of men regardless of country or culture? And another thing, they didn't actually check how jacked or how strong the men were being surveyed...just how interested they were in becoming more muscular. So the title of the article is misleading. Looks like garbage to me.

Yes society nowadays is very anti masculine. It seems more encouraging to be more delicate and femimine for guys and macho alpha male attitude is frowned down upon. Thank gym and juice for balancing this shit out a little. If it wasnt for the gym and self motivation i dont know what il do hahaha.

Sometimes, you get the feeling there are some people who would like to outlaw manhood, if it were possible. Compliant men didn't establish this country, but one day too much compliance just may be the demise of it.

I guess I am not a bodybuilder per se, but I do share a lot of similarities. Yes I am into myself, but I also love my wife and treat women very well. I have a hard time believing many of the guys here I fondly call brother are much different than I (for the most part).
