I can't find the link to the updated article, but found a summary of the finished study here.

The study tested many obese men and the effect of diet and trt compared to diet alone. After 56 weeks around 11kg average weight was lost, but the trt group lost 3kg more bodyfat than the other group, and lost more visceral fat as well.
