+ 1 Marijuana use in weight loss

I havd used almost daily 420 for 3 yrs while eating clean and lifting and miles on treadmill. I firmly believe it has helped me achieve goals. But cant incorporate into a weight loss/muscle program for guys over 50 because its still illegal here BUT i believe cannabis has a real place in a program. Do you?

Interesting. A few months back, I had a wicked seasonal depression 'winter' and crippling anxiety. As soon as I wake up, my anxiety and panic attacks take total control of me. I hate benzos and narcotics, so I refused to use script meds. Anyway, my friend got me a bag of kush from Denver. I'm not a weed smoker, but decided to try it anyway. At first, one hit would make me go insane 'in my own head'. The hunger was brutal. My anxiety literally disappeared within 2-3 days. Anyway, when my tolerance went up a little, I was able to control the hunger and it didn't hinder my diet. In fact, I realized that the physical relaxation helped me cut down on food because I didn't feel like getting up.

In no way, shape or form scientific, but it is my experience. Haha

I personally think it cools the mind body and soul, but needs to be done weekly rather then daily. i find when daily 420 is happening, heart problems can occur breathing problems. because you have to remember you are putting strain on your body when lifting. in terms of losing weight when you are on cycle I do not think it effects the body weight as much because it helps you to eat But i would advise less 420 and more PUMP !!!

Hey mates this is my experience w/ good ol marijuanaaa

Preworkout? terrible for heavy days or powerlifting style type training, but I get incredible pumps and focus on the individual muscle I am hitting. Great for bodybuilding. Terrible for powerlifting IMO.

Recovery? Not sure. Helps people sleep and eat if they need help with that.

Diet? If i'm not hungry and I smoke I get hungry, and if i'm hungry and I smoke I won't be hungry. Anyone experience the same thing?

The downfall...I read an article about marijuana and the endocrine system. It binds to estrogen receptor, inhibits the production of testosterone and growth hormone. I would upload the link but it's being lousy right now. Article was by UkCIA - endocrine effects

Although if you're taking testosterone artificially I don't think it matters. If you're natural: probably.

I use marijuana after work or before go to bed, for bulking time marijuana help me eating everything.

I believe it would definitely have a place in my program specifically before training. .I would do this preworkout puff daily if I didn't get random drug testing at work..but any puffs after the gym would lead to eating rediculous amounts of everything...
So for me it's only benifit is before training. .it really does unleash my beast!! I love it!!

I find that eating before getting high drastically reduces my munchies. I too also go beast mode at the gym, if I smoke beforehand. I can go harder and longer. I attribute it to the pain relieving effects of pot.

Yes I agree, it's quite a boost in the gym..
Today I had a job interview and they sent me for a drug test, that's a good sign I got the job so with this job I don't see any randoms taking place in the future..I should be up and smoking in no time : ))
With moderation of coarse ;)
I can't wait to roll up a big fat stogie and smoke it without any worries!!

hey guyz need advice if i smoke about 2-3 gramms daily is it possible that cannabis drops my roid levels in my blood?

I have not seen this in me personally. I TRT and my levels are always the same. Before TRT, my blood work didn't differ, if I was smoking that week or not.

Because you're on TRT you shouldn't see fluctuation of levels. If you were natural it might happen- or at least theoretically.

Always helps me in the gym. I used to weigh at the highest 250, obese, when I was a teenager. I started smoking at 17 and it got me more active and my appetite seemed more contrallable surprisingly, and I lost 80 pounds within a year.

I eat my bud every day 24/7 and I will tell you that it has definitely given me more focus in the gym, made it a lot easier to diet, and keeps me away from booze. Some guys argue it makes them tired, I include a pot brownie as part of my pre workout. It will keep you going and going and going throughout your workout and my strongest days I have always been stoned. So I truly do believe you're onto something.
