First an foremost, let's be honest, being 265lb at 4% bf looks super cool but isn't worth shit! Aside from being in stage that size is a liability and today a 150lb little shit taught me that. I joined an MMA gym a few weeks back and decided to evolve my sweet ripped bod into something a bit more useful.
My trainer is 150lbs and I'm 210lbs as of today. I was getting cocky and decided to spare my tiny ass trainer and he danced around like I was a slow moving fat man then threw my ass on the mat in 1min flat. Which brings me to the point of his post and what Nitti has been saying for years, big muscles don't mean shit if they don't speak to each other
So I thought it'd be nice to have a group to discuss MMA and steroids, fighters workouts and dieting!
RULES: Keep your negativity, bitching, whinning/complaining and/or unsolicited opinions/advice/critisim to yourself or I'll edit your posts to say some real homo shit. No homo!

I'm new to the forum, I don’t know where else to ask a question. tell me which drugs are better to take to prepare for the battles mma, I've been practicing for a long time. I want to understand for myself what will be useful for endurance, strength, and training functionality. thanks.

I train thai kickboxing w/ a coach 3x week. love the skill, the cardio and the power aspects. also nice to know between my strength training and 3 yrs of thai training + a lil gear...that any fight wouldn't really scare me if I needed to protect myself or my girl.

actually used it last year at a bar...drunk tough guy came at me...blocked his lame bro punch and a knee to the ribs and an elbow to the chin put him down quick. since I was protecting myself, he went to jail...I did not. lol

Probably five years ago I worked out with some MMA guys for a few weeks. At the end of my very first BJJ training session with them they played a game they called the shark tank. If I recall there were eleven of us training that day. We all made a circle, each of us had to take a turn in the center of the circle and then you would either have to take down or submit each of the others. You are in essence fighting everyone twice. I was probably fourth or fifth biggest of everyone. A few of the smaller guys I handled pretty well but by the time I got to like that 8th one I was gassed. The last guy was the biggest dude too, he slammed me hard! lol. It was a fun class but they had a really goofy schedule and it was a good half hour away so it just didn't work out. I wish we had something like that closer tho, I would gladly get back in.

BJJ is the toughest part of mma to me. i fucking love shark tank though...damn that brings back memories...

I agree bjj is the toughest part of mma. i was blessed with "natural talent" in it i excelled quick. shark tank is the best game.

i see where you are comming from but i dont bjj is the toughest i think it is literally a matter of preference and base pretty much what you came up to learn im sure if you ask gracie what was the hardest for them im sure they would say the stand up game ...but anyways ive seen dudes from sambo snap bjj guys right up judo and gerco roman and freestlye there isnt a domminant style what i believe bjj brings that no other is practical and it can be easily used by general population and how it can be applied but to say thats the best no i would put that on the fighter and how he uses it
