Neck Training
ad
Does anyone has experience with that.? This is a part i always ignored
Lately i tried to do an exercises when i lay down on a flat bench, with my head hanging slightly off the bench with a weight plate on my forehead. I extend my neck downwards and slowly curl the neck upwards, almost like i'm trying to touch my chin to your upper pectorals. Then slowly i lower it down.
Is it good? or perhaps someone has better ideas
Please suggest
Thanks bros

try the neck harness. this allows you go do both an extention and curl style movement. watch doing neck. I overlook this alot too. when you start go light. its very easy to over starin your neck. you wont feel it at the time, but wont be able to move your head the day after. ive done that a few times and should know better.
Wardi77Thats an old school neck exercise, nowadays you can get the neck harness, but what I found that works for me is an exercise we used to do while I was wrestling in school, its called bridges look it up man I highly recommend it. To this day i still do it from time to time and I truly believe it saved my neck because I have had some nasty collisions while playing football that should've cracked my neck. Plus with the bridges, it doesnt cost anything and is more effective in my opinion.
You can buy a neck harness online or at a fitness equipment store. Just Google it.
I've heard of that.. never tried it.. Deads and shrugs seemed to thicken the back of my neck out
My gym has a plate loaded machine for neck that allows you to go 4 diferent directions to strengthen the entire neck. but you can wrap like a 10lb plate in a towel and do them off a bench just dont forget side to side and backwards.
Shit I wish my gym had that!
I just bought a Neck Harness the other day and 15lbs of weight, I probably could use some more weight though. So far I'm impressed. In total the harness and weights were $30, not bad.
