Lagging Muscle Treatment
ad
Wanted to see if guys had suggestions on how to help a lagging body part. My right pec and tricep couldnt fully contract due to a nerve impingement in my neck. Consequently my rt pec is noticeably smaller than my left...the tricep isnt so bad. Obviously i could stop doing chest all together and just focus on isolation movements for the rt side or perhaps just add a 2nd chest day in where I only train my rt. Just didny know if anyone had any secrets that could help things along i.e. site injections etc.

spot injections are a huge myth man (unless your doing a synthol protocol)! BUT that being said, if you do injection into a smaller muscle lets say the biceps and you're having a hard time with growth in that area. The oil can cause swelling in turn will lead to inflammation and can actually help stretch the fascia.
AnonIMO I would think that isolation exercises would be you're bet bet. Spot injections can be tricky from what have been told. But you have to look at that if you do spot injections in one side and not the other that the lagging side could respond greatly and the other side end up becoming the smaller side. So I would just do isolation and get up with the weights that you are pushing and your measurements. Good luck, dude. Hope everything turns out well for you.
cant say ive every really believed in spot injections, if that was the case my right quad, left glute and shoulder would be bigger then the rest. have you really experienced a muscle developing faster where you inject?
AnonNo I haven't.
Agree.
AnonYou think i should stop doing full chest days and just focus on the rt or just add the.rt iso in on 1 or 2 other days
AnonJust use isolation machines. Like the hammer strength or you can use dumbbells. Try staying away from barbells for a bit.
