Hands Cramping Bad When Lifting

ad

When I lift I have a problem with my hands cramping up, I cant hold the weights for very long before I have to set the weights down and rest them. (usually starts towards the end of my set before its starts to hurt) It bugs the shit out of me and I don't really know what to do, I wear gloves and wrist wraps and that seems to help quite a bit, but I still have a charley horse like feeling and tightening in the palm part of my thumb.

Has anyone else ever had this problem?

Its been happening for as long as I can remember and even before i ever did gear so i know its not that. doc said I have a slight carpel tunnel but also said that it wouldn't cause it because its so mild.

Well I was told the other day by my girl that i sleep with my wrist bent in towards my forearms and made me think that could be a big problem in making my wrist hurt and effecting me. i don't know how im going to get out of that habit since i do it in my sleep and have no real control over it.

I had problems before with my calves cramping up bad but taurine cleared that up, and ive read alot of other people have fixed cramping problems with a little taurine.

Perform wrist stretches on a regular basis. Put your forearm in the air and point all your fingers up as high as you can making your hand flat and perpendicular to your forearm. Then rest and make a fist and move your wrist forward as far as comfortable and stretch it. Are you experiencing this on only back exercises where it is more a grip problem or on exercises such as DB rows, Rows, shrugs, Deads, etc. or more pressing movements such as Bench, SHoulder press etc.If its only on back exercises you juust need to strengthen your grip, if not it may be a medical issue.

I'll try that bro thanks. But no its not just when lifting its also when I run my girls back too or as simple as pinching my thin and fingers together in a stiff flex like way

I get the same thing. I have really small wrists, so maybe it is a weak wrist issue. I have to wrap my wrists for any press over 200 or so, too...they just start to hurt...

I hate it wish there was something to fix it
