try 600mgs of deca durabolin a week and glucosamine chondriotin msm
It could also be a slight tear or even just badly inflamed. I definitely recommend cold therapy if you haven't done any already. If you are continuing to lift, always do cold right after to get down any inflammation. I'm a huge advocate for taping...especially if still active with the area. Taping will help stabilize the bicep and help prevent any further damage. I also recommend looking into whats called the BFST wrap. I've heard great things and have used it to treat my foot (morton's neuroma and metatarsalgia) along with the tape of course. I know it's great for any soft tissue injury, even tendonitis. Not sure if I can, but I put the link in for them. All the best. http://www.kingbrand.com/Bicep-Tendonitis.php?REF=46PV142.211
Try not to use an underhand grip if possible. If you have to, use an EZ bar they're a lot easier on your elbows. Eventually they'll get better.
I had the same problem a coupe years back . I did finger band exercises and did a warm up set of very little weight to get blood flowing and the join warmed up after a month of doing this it went away and never came back
Cortisone shot from Ortho does wonders. Then wear the brace so as to not aggravate it again.
Had the same issue to bro just could lift too much to soon. I tested up and lifted lighter weights not sure if you are on cycle but add Deca to your cycle helps me with joint pain
Buy one of those tennis elbow brace wraps. They will help with the pain but resting it is the best way to get the pain to go away for good. I had the same problem and just had to lift lighter for awhile when doing biceps and back. Haven't had that problem in a long time now.
Appreciate the input man
@guitarplayer1
i agree man sounds like tennis elbow. lifting too heavy and youve damaged or pulled a tendon. dont overstress it in the next couple days of healing. extremely low weights and muscle relaxers help me to get through the pain. Also can happen if you dont stretch your arms properly
This will sound "witch doctor'ish", but Reiki massages took care of this exact issue for me. I had two problems that wouldn't go away (what pansy wants to take 6-8 weeks out of the gym to re-coop?).
Elbow issue that you describe and shoulder (couldn't raise my left arm without wincing). Both were GONE after three Reiki massages. These are PAINFUL rubbing (with a rake-like tool) of the joints, and connecting tendons. They break up the tissue? to make a smooth muscle connection?? Who knows...It hurt and it paid off. It is cheap too ($25 per 30 min session)...def worth a shot to solve your problem!
my wife does this and she swears by it.
I have the same mate i find skullcrushers and curls make it worse, I use fish oil and glucosamine sulphate (or however you spell it lol) helps loads!
Put ice on it for 7-20 minutes. You could use TENS on it, too. DMSO might help as long as you have no allergy to it. Ease up on weight like bro said below...rest it...
Tink22Lol... Take a break from curling... Don't curl heavy also. It's very pointless. Goodluck
You could be gripping bar to tight which puts lots of pressure on forearm and lower bicep if it hurts on curls or back exercises. I had similar pain and did light curls with palm almost open, and isometric exercises with loose grip which relieved tension on that ligament which helped and now back to normal with no pain.
Sounds like golfer's or tennis elbow. Google it and see if you have those symptoms bro.
Appreciate it man yah I think it is something like that
Yep, that's what I thought too. My brother has the same issue. Golfers elbow.
What are you taking? joints could be drying out
No its been going on for a while its just gotten worse but im on trt and take hcg, proviron
taking any joint support or supplements?
Fish oil and few vitamins
you should try a Orange Triad i hear great things about it i haven't taken it personally because im taking accutane and its loaded with Vitamin A, but i have buddies that swear by it being the best joint and multi vitamins all in one, just a thought something to look into.
I tried it once and felt light headed or something on it unless that came from something else I may give it a shot again in the future
Hey man, I know this is an old thread but, did you ever figure it out! I have been having the same issues for a few months now and I take fish oil and glucosamine and chondrotin as well as a tennis/golf elbow brace and still have severe pain.
