CARDIO BUILT IN TO WEIGHT TRAINING
ad
Good afternoon friends, Hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
I must admit i have been slipping on my cardio lately and just doing heavy weight training. No big deal really because i am happy with my result's and feel great.
Being that is getting warmer out though, i would like to start doing cardio again 1-2 a week.
I will still continue to lift 6 days a week but if you guys have any input on how to manage in my cardio without me over doing it. I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks as always,

Wardi77I prefer to do cardio during the days when I am not weight training. For fat loss, performing cardio in the morning on and empty stomach is definitely the way to go. If that is not possible due to your schedule, then just get it in after your weight training. Since you only strive for 1-2 days a week of cardio, doing it on your days off from weights might be the way to go. It's whichever you prefer, but in my opinion as long as you are doing cardio, it doesnt really make a difference when you do it.
Buildbigger86I gotcha, I used to cycle a lot( ride a bike lol) So i figure i will do that 2 x a week and just do quick 5 minute sprints after every work out.
i ride a bike after my workout at a moderate pace. it won't harm your gains, just eat a bit more to compensate for the calories burnt during the ride.
Buildbigger86Agreed, i throw down a nice shake after my riding.
