Arnold's workout

ad

Well I'm planning my next cycle and thought I would just totally change up everything in the gym this time.. I bought a book and just finished reading it ( The new encyclopedia of modern bodybuilding by arnold .) even though its an old book but everything in it holds true to training to nutrition !! It's time to get to basics this year!!

There is a lot of truth in that back. The basic message is you don't need to reinvent the wheel. If it worked for Arnold then it is probably going to work for Haney. If it worked for Haney. It probably will work for Heath. If it works for Heath it will probably work for you. The human body has not evolved drastically over our time so the basics that Arnold advocated are as good today as they were back then for him.

I like when people ask "What can I do to get bigger?" I'll say "squats and deadlifts" "But,I want my arms to get bigger" "O.k.,do squats, deadlifts and pulldowns."

It is a great read and yes the basics are what its about. Stuff all the pussy little exercises that yeild little to no results. I always have been an advocate of heavy basic compound movements.
