I use turkey in my meatloaf, normally with bison but beef works too.
1lb turkey
1lb bison
2 eggs
one onion
1 teaspoon ginger
salt and pepper to taste
crackers if you're looking for carbs, none if you're not
If you're bulking, put a half cup of dark brown sugar in the pan and over it with ketchup then put the meat mix on top. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes, cool for 15-20 and flip upside down on a plate. It's crazy good, if you're not bulking then don't add the sugar. Mmm now I want meatloaf lol
I've been putting it in my chicken noodle soup with egg whites.
AnonI only eat turkey while dieting- beef or bison is just too damn good- so my ideas are for leaner meals. Ground turkey with low sodium taco seasoning (I add a extra chili powder) half an onion, half can of black beans and jalapeños. You can add it to brown rice on high carb days on top of salad (with salsa as dressing) or even better, with steamed spinach- sounds gross but once you mix it all together it's decent. Also, ground turkey with low sugar tomato sauce and chopped spinach, heavily reduced and stuffed into bell peppers. Also, white bean turkey chili.
Brown 2 lbs ground turkey, add chopped medium onion, red and green pepper, 1 clove garlic, 1 tsp cumin, chili powder and oregano, cup of low sodium tomato sauce. Place on tortilla with mont. jack cheese. Dang Im getting hungry
.
99 percent lean ground, olive oil broccoli carrots and asparagus. And then.... Franks mothafuckin hot sauce really nothing to it but it's the shit. My girl throws it all in the wok and boom 1 lb got two kick ass meals
Welcome to BB, It is especially hard when your bulking to eat the same copious amounts of the "right" food and turkey is by far one of the best. On top of ground you should be able to find strips and legs, I make a lot of stews out of turkey with lots of raw veggies, one pot can last three days, great for chili also, just try to remember your fueling machine instead of satisfying a craving; It's helped me a lot, turkey and rabbit has been the only way to for me to break 10% bf. I put them in the abdominal food group. good luck
What I LOVE is to put the turkey into a bowl..Mix in a little Santa Maria (tri-tip) style rub..Some pepper and form patties..Toss them bad boys onto the grill..Its freakin good brother. Oh..A little tip..Oil your hands first..Ground turkey has got to be the most messy thing ever..Just sticks to anything it touches.
thats what she said
FlexNinjaI just made some ground turkey meatloaf for dinner tonight. I used 2 lbs of ground turkey. Add three eggs, Italian bread crumbs, chopped black olives, chopped mushrooms, garlic powder, paprika, or whatever spices you like into the meat. Mix all that up with your hand until its mixed well. Spray casserole dish with Pam or olive oil, I use olive oil. Then put meat mixture in dish like a cake. Add ketchup to top like your icing a cake. Preheat oven to 375 and bake for one hour. Let it cool then get your grub on. 4 oz. = 22 grams of protein. Add cheese to top if your bulking.

Taco seasoning and sour cream with ground turkey and quinoa pasta...tastes like Hamburger Helper. Throw in some peas, carrots, and broccoli. Sub plain yogurt if you don't like sour cream.
Taco seasoning
i put ketchup on everything! so good lol
i take a pound of ground turkey in a pot add a little olive oil. once the meat starts to browm a little i add a bag a frozen peppers onion to the pot cover to let the veggies sweat and cook.then drain off the excess water from the frozen veggies and turn the heat up to medium and finnish it off till the peppers charr a little. add that to a torilla and makes for a good soft taco.

RustyhookerIt's good if you get creative. George Foreman burgers. You can control spices to your needs. Mexican styled, shephers pie, Italian, damn now I'm hungry!
