Why must I starve?
Hey guys, I was hoping that someone on here could give me some incite why I have to eat so little calories to lose weight. In order for me to lose weight, right now I eat 1650 calories. I see people on here who say they are cutting and eating 2800+ calories and it blows my mind. I train 6 days a week really hard, and I measure everything I eat down to the 12g of pb2 and have been doing so for almost 5 years now. About 4 months ago I tried to up my calories to 2700 to try and maybe jump start my metabolism but only ended up gaining 15lbs. So now im on the grind back to 8% body fat and it seems to be a struggle this time around, and I absolutely hate eating so few calories. So if anyone could figure this shit out for me I would love you long time. Thanks guys

its all about carb for me i had the same problem once i figured out how to cycle my carbs i was gtg
You should definatly get blood work done and have your thyroid hormone levels checked.
you shouldn't have gone straight from 1600 cals to 2700 of course its gonna cause you to gain a ton of weight. Try slowly adding 100 cals each week.

Looks like you need to lay out your diet for us to evaluate... 1650 sounds low.. losing bf for me is all about carb manipulation..

I'm around ur height and weight and I'd prob cut on what you do. Or I'd go lower
Yea, I know what works for me its just that I hate thinking about food so much when im on a cut. And like I said this time around it is driving me crazy

Yea, I do crossfit style cardio 2 days out of the week.
Bro, I am in the same boat as you, I am thinking may be we got fucked up thyroids or some other hormone problem? I am on under 1800 cal 7 days workout 4 days cardio 6 days lifting, if I eat just a little bit more or miss 2 days of workout my belly pops out!
