For about a hour each day five days a week.. She got on the scale this morning she gain two pounds. . Let me also say she eats like a rabbit very very small meals maybe two meals a day.. may 500-600 calories a day.. Just looking for some advice to keep her motivated and maybe even help her out..

She's not eating enough. She's not lifting enough, and she's doing too much cardio.

The best thing you can do for her is throw her scale away!!!

IMO this statement above is leading to her lack of progress and thus will cause frustration. She needs to increase her weight training and get on a real meal plan in order to gain some lean muscle which in turn will boost metabolism and help her burn fat. The lack of sufficient calories are probably causing her metabolism to be slow and thus resistant to weight loss.

Should she around 6 small meals a day??

Yes sir, every 2-3 hours in my opinion. Her metabolism is probably slow as molasses eating only the small amount you said. Got to get her weight training more. Muscle burns fat. Believe it or not I see a lot of girls frustrated because they become cardio queens and that just doesn't cut it. Your body is smart it will adapt and when you are taking in insufficient calories I like to say it becomes a camel, holding on to nutrients like a camel holds water in it's hump!! It gets worried about where it's next meal is coming from so naturally metabolism slows down to conserve .. Got to eat to get that shit rev'd . She needs to get her maintenance macros figured out then she can adjust her calories to burn fat. At 140 lbs and eating 600 cals a day she is in a severe calories deficit so her body is adapting.

These are all just my opinion!!

First off take those scales and toss them in the trash can. A woman's worst enemy is a set of damn scales! Second eat more, eat more frequently, and eat clean. Allow one cheat meal a week. My gal has been working with a trainer for a few months now and he has her do 10 mins of cardio and then hit light weights fast and hard with little rest or breaks. 3 days a week it is either arms, legs, or total body and a 10 min cardio cool down. Gotta keep that heart rate elevated to shed those lbs. The results thus far has been 12 lbs weight loss and a beautiful shape to her body.

She didn't actually gain 2 real pounds overnight. Weight will change with the amount of food you are the day before, water intake, if she has a bowel movement they day or not etc. and in my opinion 500-600 calories a day even for a girl is way to low. There is such thing as not eating enough to lose weight. Our body's are smart, so if were seriously depriving them of nutrients tje body will make adjustments to our metabolism due to the low calorie intake. So basically the body will slow down the metabolism if were in to much of a calorie deficit.
