I think my dnp is bunk. 3 weeks with no sides. And no weight change. I'm natually thirsty and always drinking fluids but not feeling any temp changes has me suspicious.
Week one: 200 a day. No sweating or dry mouth. Diet; 40% pro, 40% fat, 20% carb.
Week two: 200 a day. Still no sides. Diet; 50% pro, 40% fat, 10% carb. Lots of fluids.
Week three: 400 a day. Hard to tell if my body temp is up or its Florida weather. Either way. No weight change lost or gained. Diet; 60% pro, 40% fat, no carb (sucked). And to top it off, the inside of the pill is white not yellow like a friend told me its supposed to be. Not sure if its true or makes a difference. But with those results I decided to just stop. Not willing to risk it if I can't tell what I'm putting in my body.
Cannot say for certain at this point whether or not your DNP is bunk. Depending on your stats, 400 a day could just barely be hitting Lowest observed adverse effect level.
I'm running on Olympic Pharma's 100mg Capsule DNP and felt for the longest time that it was understrength. That is until I brought up my dosage to 600mg/daily, and then I began to observe the sides. Granted, many users have reported the sides at 400mg/Daily using different DNP sources. And for my own piece of mind I'll be trying out a different source next time, slowly ramping up my levels.
DNP's half life is roughly 36hrs, so what you took on day one will be in your system come day 3 when you're dosing. So it would be prudent to spread out your intake evenly and of course, ramp up 200mg or 100mg if you have the option in 3 day cycles. If 400mg/D isn't working for you, try 600mg.
I'm coming up on 12 days, and I have some DNP left so I plan to run it completely to the end. Yesterday I bumped it up 100mg to 700mg/D, and at this point I could feel the differences.
The worst side for me has been shortness of breath, exaserbated by intense workouts or warm air. I went for a run this morning before dosing and it was a joke. A mere 2.5K laugh of a run on any given normal day and by the end of it I looked at felt as though I had just done wind sprints for a half hour.
The kind of sweating and thirst you experience is not comparable to anything else I don't think. It's as if you are perpetually dehydrated. You consume litres upon litres of water and you feel like a desert wasteland. Always needing more. Neglect you waterbottle for a couple hours, and you become acutely aware of just how thirsty you really are.
And breathing in warm air? its like suffocating. Stagnant air that is not circulating is a slow painful experience when on DNP. You crave your fan, or a cool breeze out doors.
I'm pretty sure you're supposed to eat carbs on DNP. DNP, like any drug, is something you need to research a lot before using. The first really good instructions I read literally said "more carbs=more heat=more fat burning." I'm sure you've been told to research compounds before you use them for safety, but it also yields better results.
I've read the same. However I am not so certain of the validity of that statement.
Simply put, so long as you've been carb depleted long enough that your body is now burning fats and proteins as the primary fuel source, then no matter what oxidative phosphorylation is occuring in the krebs cycle. Carb/Fat/Protein, it'll all be burned. And since DNP works by uncoupling the oxidative phosphorylation during ATP production then the source of the energy to be turned into ATP is irrelevant.
DNP burns fat by reducing the amount of energy your body is making for itself, thus it is forced to recruit body fat to make up for the deficiency in energy. And of course, through the thermogenic effect of uncoupling ATP.
As far as I can tell in all the legitimate scientific literature, there is no indication that carbs are going to increase the thermogenic effect any more then fat or protein. Especially if your body has been sufficiently carb depleted before starting the DNP.
powdered DNP is yellow, when cut it can look greenish yellow but it cant be white and be genuine powdered DNP. the main thing about DNP IS that is is yellow and it stains everything yellow, removing the 'yellow' ? i dont think so, DNP is sometimes used as a colouring agent because it is so yellow.
maybe DNP crystal? although i would have still thought some yellow would be there?
on 400mg per day you should be feeling it, and that is in UK weather, florida weather you should be melting
night times you should have soaked through your bed with sweat ( hint** use towels)
it is worth naming what 'brand' you used so others dont have the same misfortune
It is also worth mentioning that Carbs should be inclusive in a diet when you are on DNP. Yes, you would in general burn fat quicker in a Keto style diet, but without carbs you wont be getting the fullest out of your DNP. a 33/33/33 split is a good start point, tweak as necessary to make sure your protein is adequate to maintain current muscle mass.
Just picked up two bottles of 100mg/50 capsules. Clearing carbs the next couple of days, and going over all my shit to make sure I have everything I need to run on it as safely as can be managed, hah
Just to keep yah guys in the loop, I started today.
Perhaps a bit cautious, but I kicked off the day with 1 100mg capsule in the morning. Didn't particularly notice anything and by noon had taken a 2nd. Throughout the afternoon I noticed some mild increase in body temperature. Not measured, just sensation.
Also quite an increase in thrist throughout the day. I've been very hydrated the past week, and have maintained, but atleast an additional 2 litres of water throughout the day.
In any case, tomorrow I'll be taking 200mg right off the get go in the morning. And as the plan stands, the first 4 days will remain at 200mg's ED.
I'm using 100mg capsules from Olympic Pharma. I'm fairly certain its the powder form as 200mg a day had no sides with the exception of increased thirst (I'd take 100mg in the morning, and 100mg after work). This resulted in a gain of a lbs or two in water weight, but still, I haven't been over 210lbs in a few weeks now.
Yesterday I bumped it up to 300mg, and threw the extra one in before lunch. Again, no sides to report other then a vague sweaty sensation and increased thirst.
With regards to fatigue: I have to be honest, I find it hard to judge. My job has been demanding the last few days, I've been at work for 12+ hrs on one of the days as we had to do a night jump to rehearse DZ/RV drills. In any case, I've attributed the fatigue to this, but its my guess that the extra sleepiness has been the result of the DNP.
Today I kicked off with 200mg in the morning, by noon I fired up another 200, and a half hour ago I had another 200. I suspect that this will be my sweet spot, but we shall see. So far, no significant sides to report. All day I've felt great, rested, and not particularly warm.
I will re-evaluate dosage tomorrow, as I am in no significant rush to burn the weight. If I can ride at a lower dosage and still be effective as a person on a day to day basis I'd run it for a month or so. Especially if it is actually doing its job.
But again, considering its likely in Powder and not crystal form, it will require stronger dosages in any case.
DNP is not easy to find (reliable source) but when you do is worth it. But like I stayed in other thread, DNP IS NOT FOR EVERYBODY. Night sweaty chills, sweating all day and all night, change shirts (multiple time) during the day, etc. Hopefully you work in AC environment because if you work in the street...sucks to be you!!! The cardio slow down a little bit and you cannot hit the gym sometimes as hard as you wish. But you will loose weight in couple of weeks. Just be careful.
Inferno cycles are the ones where guys go high, like 800mgs for short periods of time. These are why the side effects of DNP have such a bad rap. At 400mg per day the fat loss is still better than anything else out there an the sides are manageable. As for becoming immune, if you up the daily dose weekly by as little as 100mg the fat loss keeps coming. As I've said, I run it for a month this way and have had killer results.
I've used it in the past. Sides are not that bad if you don't do the inferno cycles that some folks advocate. I usually run it for a month starting at 100mg a day working up to 400 or 500 a day, increasing the daily dosage by 100mg each week...the increase is needed because fat loss stalls out after so long at the same dosage. Do it smart and there are no problems with it.
what do you mean by "inferno cycles" Yeah I found a killer source. I don't think i'm gonna run it for longer than 2 weeks though. read a lot of logs from experienced users who say u get to immune to it and don't see gains after 14days.
Drake DNP is the best DNP i have tried so far, UK supplier. bought 3 times from him, fast delivery and the DNP is TOP stuff, be sure to start with 200mg for first 3 days even if you are experienced on DNP as this stuff really is legit.
he sells on a board i am on and is cheaper than most places also.
dont know if im allowed to post the board so i wont for now unless a mod tells me its ok?
I ran this years ago (about 8 years ago...yes I'm old). The results were great but IMO not worth it with the sides. The night sweats were nasty horrible. I'd wake up at night to shower. Lethargic throughout the day. I could barely lift while on. IMO you're better off with a good diet and maybe a clen/t3 stack.
Clen/T3 don't do anything for me. i know a few people who have ran DNP for a week or two with great results. I think as long as I keep the doses right and drink plenty of water I should be able to manage. Thanks for you advice.

k you know DNP builds up in your system right? so you wont feel anything for the first 3 or 4 days, or at most mild heat on a dose of 200mg?
dont be tempted to keep adding caps just because you are not feeling it.
if this is your first time and the DNP is good then no matter what, dont go above 400mg
if after 6 or 7 days, you are still feeling nothing on 400mg then it is shit DNP
SpyVYeah, figured it'd be kicking in by now, I'll leave the dosage at 400mg, but at this point I'm not feeling anything special.
