Carb cycling with t3

Correct me if I'm wrong, but t3 works by raising your basal metabolic rate. So in theory would you be able to cycle carbs so that you can eat in a caloric uptake on workout days and then have a much steeper caloric deficient on non workout days due to the t3. Therefore being bel to cut hard yet build muscle?
