Im wondering if its possible to break a plateau by encorporating clen.
Up your calories for 8 weeks I.e carbs and fats and protein, and try to maintain your weight then start the diet again lowering the carbs and fats constructively.
Your bodies metabolism adapts to diets easily so this is guarenteed to work and keep your metabolism guessing
Yeah i think its my metabolism
Thats out of wack. Man im so used to dieting its haard to eat more. I am pretty muscular as is and not really trying to build anything. i just want to lean out esp in the stomach a d
area. Would clen make me lose fat on my tummy?
What is your current BF%? Are you trying get to below 5% for a show, trying to get a "six" pack, or are you obese and tyring to bring your BF down to a healthy range?
Im not sure of my body fat but Im just trying to get down to something healthy. Right now im 193lbs 5'5 cardio 45 mins 5
Days a week plus light weights. And then a low carb and fat diet. I started at 220
And have been stuck at 193 for a few months now. Im getting pretty frustrated hence the clen thoughts.
Congrats on what you have lost so far. I have used clen many times and I wouldn't recommend it until you are at least around 15% or so BF. Diet and cardio alone should be able to get you there fairly easily. To really know where you are at for your diet you should try keeping a log of everything you eat. That way you will then know the total amound of calories you are consuming and the macronutrient breakdown (%protein, carbs, fat). Look at the total calories you are taking in and adjust accordingly so that you are consuming about 500 calories below your BMR daily (adjusted to your activity level with the Harris-Benedict equation) and you should be able to attain your goals without any clen.
Also be sure you are doing fasted cardio so that you will be preferentially burning fat instead of carbs/glucose.
Thanks. Haha funny u say that. Im actually using myfitnesspal app to track my meals i feel like if i go any lower 1300 im gonna be eating nothing. Is there a better fat burner i could try?
I actually like albuterol better than clen if I had to choose between the two. I sleep better, shake less and my heart doesn't pound out of my chest with albut.
You may be stuck at your current weight, but remember it is just weight. Since you are working out and eating right you may be losing fat but gaining muscle, thus no change in weight. That's why monitoring BF% is a better gauge than the scale. BF calipers are cheap and you may want to judge your progress using that instead of the scale.
AnonHow many mcg of clen have you taken?
I usually start out at 40mcg and ramp it up to about 120-140.
With albut I take up to 24mg split 3 times daily.
Albuterol is hard to
Find. Iv been lookin
All over!
Yeah true i need to figure out my BF%. I tried looking online and if thats right im at 28% (wow) im thinking clen to do something dramatic n kick my body into gear
Right now im having 3 meals with 2 snacks in between. Only carbs are from a bowl of oats in the am and about 4 rice cakes then the rest is salads and proteins. Maybe i need more food? Or fats. I dont know.
AnonYea dude eating like that ur gina get fat i eat every 2hrs 8times a day and im in much better shaped compared to when i ised to eat 3times a day doing the same excersise
waltrthat's the problem right there.
break the meals up to every 2-3 hours smaller portions
let us know how it's going in a week.
Ok ill try that.
Weight loss plateau
waltri suppose it could, but if you're on a strict diet try a cheat meal first.
after a while the body gets used to a diet (even a calorie restricted diet) and you need to give it some different foods to confuse it.
try eating something greasy/high fat like a cheeseburger or a cheesesteak sub or something and then go back to the diet the next day.
my go to cheat meal is chicken tikka masala, it's made with heavy cream and oil so it always throws my body for a loop
A cheat meal is one of the best things I have found to break a plateau once you start getting into the single digit BF%.
When I was getting ready for a show many years back (more than I care to remember) I was stuck at 7.5% BF forever. Seemed like no matter I did I couldn't shed anymore. What I found out was I actually had to little fat in my diet. Only about 2% of my calories were coming from fat at that time. I bumped that number up to 12% and bam! then the fat started melting off and in a couple of weeks I was down to 6% and still dropping. Moral of the story is try giving yourself a cheat day once in a while or increase your %fat in your diet (drop the carbs and replace those calories with some good fats).
I've actually tried cheats with pizza n that kinda stuff but my weight will increase then return to the plateau weight.
waltrare you eating small meals every couple hours or larger meals less frequently?
weight loss has a lot to do with controlling insulin spikes and the way the body reacts to food based on them
waltra weight loss plateau or strength plateau?
