+ 1 Pre-Bedtime Nutrition

Curious to hear what you seedy assholes do religiously before bed nutrition wise. Do some of you meat heads wake up just to eat?

personally I like to mix 1 cup of vanilla fat free Greek yogurt with a scoop of chocolate peanut butter taste just like pudding. My logic being I get the quick whey and the slow digesting from the yogurt so I got them amino’s available in the blood for the gains!

Old thread but I'll wake her up. I use to drink a protein shake before bed and try and sleep through the night. I still don't his but I added to my regimen. I have insomnia and wake up alot... So instead of just grabbing something to drink and trying to sleep again, I eat when I wake up. Been working well for keeping my weight gain steady. No early morning drop in weight. The same or more than when I went to bed. I'll eat things like tuna and rice, oatmeal with fruit, left overs in the fridge, or another protein shake depending on what time of night it is.

Its a wonder how that kid even fits 25 Big macs in his stomach, I mean he's tiny so his stomach must be killing. Would be great to be able to do if you are into training though - it would never be excess calories and protein holding you back!

After he wolfs down the first 500g serving of mince I'm sat thinking jesus - that would last me about 2 days just that meal! Its literally exhausting watching him isn't it. In all honesty all these massive 270lb plus guys can eat huge servings all of that size no problem.

If i pound down a shake of ultimate nutrition muscle juice right before bed i dont wake up in the middle of the night with too much munchies but most the time i wake up like 1am and have brown sugar poptarts and glass of milk. My wife knows to keep it stocked in the cabinet. Its my guilty pleasure but the only time im putting straight sugar in my belly. Nothing more satisfying than a hot toasted pop tart. Lol. I apologize to all the health freaks now if this is taboo for you. But the cottage cheese below sounds like a real good idea so will pick some up. O have a sweet tooth in the middle of the night so i will put some Maraschino cherrys in it. Thank you

Before bed:

200g oatmeal with water mixed with 500g cottage cheese and 100g Brazil nuts.

If I wake up at night, what happens not very often, 90g casein , 50g oats , 5g Glutamine and 500ml milk.
